Hero - poem

I know I’m not the first,
Not either the last;
I know I have no future
But I think about my past;
When I was a child –
Those days are long gone.
I can only see
The path ahead of me,
Foresee what is to come.

I have got no choice,
My decision has been made…
I need to go on
Walk on while my selfishness fade…
I need to save the world –
They need to be saved…

I’m giving all of me,
Forsaking all my pride,
Because I have to fight –
Fight for all I know,
For what I think is right.
