***If you're not a fan of TL;DR skip right to the bottom.***Ok... So, I finally caved. Having rattled around the MMO scene for a few years I'm finally prepared to bite the bullet and give WoW a try. It was something that I had promised myself I wouldn't, perhaps to leave it for a rainy day when there was nothing much else worth doing and I'm depressed to announce that time has come. Istaria hasn't changed at all in the two years since I officially handed in my wings and Aion failed to redeem itself with free playtime. Another brilliant Guy Fawkes night has passed, along with another cataclysmic barrage of fireworks. If aliens are watching the earth they're certainly going to have after-images tonight. It was actually pretty tame this year by the standard of these things, but the firework smoke outside is still so thick that if you open a window it spills into the room like water.I often think about this holiday, and wonder if the meaning has been lost in recent years. Fuck it, I quit

I'm becoming increasingly frustrated in my lack of progress with creative writing. Each piece seems to take longer to write, downtime due to chronic lack of any meaningful inspiration grows and the number of people who actually read it seems to drop. As quickly as it comes, my writing muse disappears again.If anyone thinks my stuff is worth saving I'd advise you do so, as I'll likely be deleting my gallery at some point in the near future and probably discontinuing the serise I'm working on. Hopefully a new start will clear the stagnation that seems to be infecting my creative spark. Don't expect to see anything from me in the future.
