Sainte-Soxia

Princess Soxia Catharès of Tulvia is the younger sister of Ademos Catharès of Tulvia, founder of the Church of the Supreme. Soxia is one, if not the most, venerated and important saint of this religion.

She was the first one to recognise her brother when he reappeared 10 years after his revelation and he was sent in prison by the castle guards who mistook him for a vagrant.

She also helped him to escape when she heard that Calixtus, her other older brother, cadet to Ademos, planned to kill him. But she couldn't leave with him at that time.

It is only several years later that she became reunited with Ademos. She spent several years on his side, learning is teaching. Then she left to travel through Tyrnaelva, where it is said that she accomplished a great number of prodigies.

Some stories say that she has lived several years among the Dark Elves in their forest. Though this is strongly refuted by some members of the high hierarchy of the church.

Saint-Soxia is also called "The snake charmer", as she was known to have been able to manipulate snakes at her will, cure any snake bite, and was also able to drive these creatures away from any place they infested.

Her body rest in the city of Saint-Soxia, renamed in her honour after her death, in the kingdom of Sylvenia. Her body can still be seen, still perfectly intact, almost 700 years after her death.

Princesse Soxia Catharès de Tulvie est la petite sœur d'Adémos Catharès de Tulvie, fondateur de l’Église du Suprême. Soxia et l'une, sinon LA sainte la plus importante et la plus vénérée de cette religion.

Elle fut la première à reconnaître son frère quand il réapparut 10 ans après sa révélation et qu'il fut envoyer en prison par les gardes du château qui le prirent pour un vagabond.

Elle l'aida aussi à s'échapper lorsqu'elle entendit que Calixtus, son autre frère aîné, cadet d'Adémos, planifiait de le tuer. Mais elle ne put partir avec lui à ce moment là.

Ce n'est que plusieurs année après qu'elle fut réunie avec Adémos. Ella passa plusieurs années à ses côtés à apprendre ses enseignements. Puis elle alla parcourir les terres de Tyrnaëlva où il est dit qu'elle accomplit de nombreux prodiges.

Certains récits disent qu'elle aurait vécu plusieurs années parmi les Elfes noirs dans leur forêt. Cependant, ceci est fortement réfuté par certains membres de la haute hiérarchie de l'église.

Sainte-Soxia est aussi appelée "La charmeuse de serpents", car elle est connue pour avoir été capable de les manipuler à volonté, de guérir toutes leur morsures et d'être capable de faire partir ces créatures de n'importe quel endroit qu'elles infestaient.

Son corps repose dans la cité de Sainte-Soxia, renommée en son nom après sa mort, dans le royaume de Sylvenie . Son corps peut toujours être vu là-bas, encore parfaitement conservé, près de 700 ans après sa mort.

This portrait was mostly set in Daz Studio, but was rendered in Blender. I had to rework most of Soxia's shaders because Diffeomorphic conversion didn't look well enough. I think she still looks a bit plasticky, but I think I am improving on the skin shaders.
