Rembrandt Stylee by MeiselMaus Rembrandt Stylee by MeiselMaus
I have a long standing, but seldom actioned, project to analyse and reproduce the style of my favourite artists in dolly form.  I finally got around to the next one.  In another four years, I might have tackled Jan van Eyck.

I have almost this doll ( David Kuncci ), and when I see the poor result of my makeup, I wonder if we have the same guys... Sweating a little...

Ahaha!  It is actually a difficult face to paint.  It is extreme and couldn't be called traditionally handsome.  This is my second attempt at painting it and I am not sure I have it yet.  But that patrician nose and general air of superciliousness were just what I needed for this character, so I am happy.
