Stinker: Old english slang, early 1900s. The rascal who causes direct trouble (also see stink bombs and usage of) rather than letting it happen naturally. (value of natural=see "everything just came together and then boom"). Those who plan and act to cause direct effect and/or "gotcha". Cannot be trusted. Often used to wear down one's endurance- see the Carlos Meme.
-
So you have Victor- who's a natural comic-book villain, Agatha- a Wednesday Addams, Christie- the henchman who's aiding and abetting, and Miriam- a known prankster, offender to good nature, and possible anarchist.
-
It's like every villain in the 'strip walks into the same room. (No, Ned doesn't count, he's a random encounter "Get past the ogre" puzzle.) There's got to be a way this strip translates into "An X and two X walk into a bar..."
