First off, I love how cheerful Miss Mimi is as she announces the sweet little project. It's nice that the girls are totally on board, especially Betty. (We know whom she has in mind. :)) Milagros is nice to think of all of their friends, though copy & paste lacks the personal touch.

Now, it's understandable that the boys wouldn't be as enthusiastic about making Valentine's Day cards, but Victor seems especially upset by the idea. It makes me wonder if he's hiding some inner shyness or perhaps it's a defense mechanism to avoid thinking about any girl he may actually like a little more than most. As for Julian, sure he seems down about it, but such a nice boy will probably receive a lot of cards and end up quite pleased.

Of course I could be mistaken… as that happens all the time. But that' okay because I prefer to be a little bit surprised. Thanks.

Well, Michelle is cheerful in general; which doesn't mean she always takes the best decisions (let's remember the Write A Story assignment).

About Victor and Julian, well... keep reading the arc. ;)

Making cards sounds like a lot more fun than buying cards! 😁
