It had to be freaky for Wilfreda to see the two mischievous kids running full-steam from her house while panicking about the witch, but I'm sure it won't take long for her to learn what happened. No damage was done, and with any luck she and Betty can have a nice afternoon together and laugh about the home invasion gone awry.
Julian's inability to be deceitful paid off handsomely and revealed the true meaning of "just desserts." It's also yet another reason to never mess with a Wintercaster. Thanks for the fun strip.
Anyway, it's a play on just desert, which means that a character or group (etc.) will get what they deserve due to their actions or attributes, whether good or bad; however, it's in English I find it used mostly in the negative context for people behaving badly.
In this case I used dessert since it's a candy shop and Julian got chocolates – the positive result of warning Miriam what his friends were up to. Meanwhile, Victor and Milagros got the negative consequences for sneaking into Miriam & Wilfreda's home.

I do have Skype, but I hardly ever open it. :/
