It looks like Julian nearly caught Milagros off-guard, probably very suddenly, but it's nice of her not to be put off by it. Actually, it's sweet to see her being helpful as Julian describes his ambitions, and maybe even a little sweeter that she can take a bit of an interest too. Heh, I guess she was still off guard when she let her own interests slip out like that, but then again weren't we just talking about future career possibilities for her?
BTW, I had gone back to the first strips when wondering about the others' career paths, but apparently just a few shy of far enough – #1. On the bright side, the fact that Betty's sense of purpose has been shining so well since the very beginning. Of course, Milagros' desire fits her to a T, but it will be fun to see more of how she goes about it. Maybe there's a possibility here?
Thanks again for some very bewitching fun even when there are no witches around.
Yup, straight from the first strip ever, we have the Main Five expressing their dreams. Hey, here's a little trivia: back then, those characters didn't have name. They were not supposed to be even recurrent characters. The whole first strip is just a setup to have Wilfreda stand out. But I liked all of those characters and decided "why not?", and added them as part f the cast immediately after that.
The more you know...
Wait until you get to shop class, now that you're in an era where Sword Forging videos exist. Oh, and wiccian stuff for Wilfredia.
And I forgot to mention another thing in my first reply: Wilfreda thinks all wiccan girls are posers. :-P
In fact, I drew this specific strip inspired by my niece and her YouTube experience.
