It's nice that after putting all the girls though so much (even Christie) that it was worth it for some good cookies. The second detective's sweetness shines in how happy she is to give the treats away, no doubt happy to make them happy.
It was good to find out why Agatha has some affection for the normally gruff boy, even when he's being that way. Her reply is perfect though, and I'm sure she'll be testing him more, whether or not she really means to, just to have an excuse to keep close. (Detectives are really smart.)

And yes, the girls got their cookies. Isn't it amusing that this is the second time a character promises cookies in order to gather their friends, but this time it actually pays off?
