Description
After such a long time I have finally returned to the world of Deviantart! I am so very sorry for my absence, but I can make up for it! I have been away, yes, however, I have not stopped drawing in that time and have improved my skills immensely and have even developed my own style! This is my first piece in the development, so a thing or two has changed since this one. This is also a bit of a story drawing, and I'll add a bit of context below. I have much more to show later, but for now, I"m back everypony!!!
Context:
The office of the legendary detective was cold and dark. After several offerings of varying sweets, we got down to business. Once Pinkie Pie had settled into her chair, everything changed. Her ice-cold gaze pierced my very soul. I then found it very hard to speak, so first decided to gaze around the room. It was barely furnished, let alone decorated which left less time to delay speaking. However, I did see what looked like the front page of a newspaper framed next to the mantle. No doubt a story of a case she closed sometime before her rise to fame. On her desk merely sat a jar of lollipops, from which she plucked a red one. Her badge looked as new as the day it was molded, displaying the care she took with her things as well as her job. A picture of a unicorn I knew to be her coltfriend stood on the opposite side. He was cute, to say the least, and definitely out of my league, that was, even if he was single. A nameplate sat in the middle, wrapping up the distractions I could find.
I returned my gaze to her icy eyes. My mouth opened and began outlining my case. The detective listened carefully to every detail. I gave her nothing but the truth. The last thing I needed to do was anger her with confusing discrepancies. She nodded in understanding when I introduced more to the story. Before I knew it, I had finished and Pinkie was standing to guide me out.
She gave me a smile. "Give me forty-eight hours", she said, "Your case is in good hooves."
