I'm not artist (unless you count literature as an art). I can't draw anything but eyes better than a stick figure. So obviously if I need art done, I need to ask someone else to do it for me. I did just that with my only Deviant submission, Lord Tai.
It was made for me by someone on GaiaOnline when my username used to be Orgrim Doomhammer (a character in Warcraft, for those who don't know). I put this art up for people to see so that when I remembered the person's username they'd get more customers. I also stood to gain when I actually created the video game in which Tai would star because at least some of the people who played it would see the character and realize they'd seen it before (here, obviously).
I figured it'd harmless to put it up for all to see, but then I noticed that when I did a message popped up with the usual "congradulations, your art is going up...yada yada yada." However, it also said that my work was now available for purchase. Can someone explain this, because I'm pretty sure I can get in a lot of trouble for selling someone else' work. I don't like trouble.
