Um. . . Hi ^^. I'm an artist, much like most of you. And I write things, and roleplay. And design, draft and sew costumes and clothing. And some other random creative things ~laugh~
I tend to think of myself as a painter, even though most of my painted work is digital. Aside from that I draw. I admit that exposure to anime leaves me predisposed to larger than normal eyes, but I pride myself in giving people a somewhat believable anatomical structure.

Favourite style of art: Is it clean and pretty? I probably like it ^_^

Last month I visited the west coast. I was looking at schools out there, with an eye for actually finishing a degree and getting work that isn't just retail supplemented with commissions and conventions. I have friends living over there, including two of my friends from highschool, whom I will be moving in with at the beginning of May.
Which is to say, yes, I found a school I like XD And I am moving across the country to go to it. So those of you who are used to seeing me around the east coast convention circuit: Sorry! My cousin, the one who I mentioned in my last journal, passed away last night after outlasting her initial prognoses by a good 6 weeks. She was able to see everyone she wanted to, and even look at the cover art for The Solo, and the rough for Escaping Earth. She is happy with knowing my mother is finishing her last novel, and she was surrounded by friends and family.
When I visited her a few weeks ago, I told her about all the love and support you guys had sent her way, and she asked me to thank you. We also ate Star Wars light-up popsicles and I walked to the art store 5 blocks away to get her a new sketchbook that she could keep by her

My cousin is dying of cancer.
Way to drop a bombshell, right? But I didn't want to say that just to ruin anyone's day.
My cousin is a novelist. And even now, when she doesn't know if she has a couple weeks, or a couple months left, she is trying to finish the last book in her trilogy, and get all her notes together so my mom can finish editing them for her.
So I guess my point is: If you have a story to tell, or another gift to share with the world, do it. Do it now, and pour your whole heart into it. Don't let anything stop you.
