The day started out like most others had been recently. Barely a teenager, I was left in charge of the household while my parents and older siblings were off in another state, looking for work and a new house for us. Okay, so I wasn't in charge, exactly, my grandma from my mom's side was in charge of “babysitting” me and two younger siblings, but most of the time, she was hardly around.
