hanging around with my buddies downtown Irbid, a city in Northern Jordan, we've stumbled across the house of an old deceased Jordanian poet whose name was Mustafa Wahbi Al-tal. His house was turned into a museum later.

I took few shots and this one attracted me the most: the Western-cultured lamp is mixed homogeneously with the Eastern-cultured wall. It's kinda they are embracing and hugging each other ;)

You're right! :omg: I didn't see that first, I just saw the beautiful light and the blue pale color (it's like the night is coming), but you're right!
Thank you for sharing the name of this poet with me, I'm passionate of poetry (It's quite visible on my journal ;P), I'm going to do my research on him...:D
I see your shots, and, god, you have a beautiful country...

I'm looking forward to seeing how the outcome might seem :)

Personally, I didn't read anything of his works...but as long as u r interested in poetry, I'll give u a name from my homeland. His name is Mahmoud Darwish. Most of the people who read his works were amazed. Again, I don't know anything of him, since I'm more influenced by prose than poetry. It's easy to find his works translated into many languages :D

Mostly science fiction, but my heart belongs to fantasy fiction. My dream is to be a fiction writer, I'm doing in fact, but the story is still in the beginning.

I like, on the other hand, philosophical stuff-but not complicated ones-just to enrich my mind with more stuff :chew:

If u want help concerning the poet, I'll be glad to help :petting:
