★INVICTUS★ (eng)
"Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds and shall find me unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate,
I am the captain of my soul."

I've always loved Invictus.

I'm a recovering drug addict, the last lines mean the most to me; I'm in charge of myself.  Nothing comes into this body without my express say-so.  Those pills never crawled down my throat, I put them there.

And now, three years later...   I don't.

Thank you for posting this beautiful and meaningful piece.  It made my heart happy to see it.

How can your work be used for tatoo work? If I purchase a print and take it to a tatoo artist, would that be something that would be ok with you?

Hi! Sure thing. I have no problem with people getting tattoed my art. I just do not allow using my work for commercial work, such as buy a print, include it in the portfolio of some tatto artist to let the clients choose from works the tattoer didn't have the right to sell. But people choosing my work as tattoos? I'm fine with that. I love to see photos of my tattoos, so if you get one, I would be pleased to see it :D

Awesome - I never thought I would find anything I'd want to have put on my body for life, but you are one of the most amazing artists I think I've seen in a long time. You remind me of Deco illustrations, but with a new edge. Just fantastic stuff... happy to support you in any as many ways as possible to keep on doing what you do.

Is it intentional that left and right part of her face look exactly the same?

At least that was the idea! I had to correct things to make it happen. I always have problems with an eye larger than other and that stuff.

Thing is human faces are actually different (left and right part)

Funny thing is artists only discovered that after medieval times. :)

Yes! You're totally right. But I feel so bad when I feel I can't control what I'm drawing. It's very interesting what you've said. I didn't know medieval artists where the ones who discovered the asymetry on faces. I just though it was something known from very old times
