I was surprised to see that most of the tutorials at 3DBuzz are now subscription based, which is a bummer. I'm contemplating becoming a member of the Blender Cloud, so that I can access official tutorials to learn Blender more efficiently. I know that I can always go back to Maya, which is what I originally used for my modeling, but I just have this burning desire to learn Blender so that I can always have an open-source program available to me for my art needs.
I'm hoping that I can really do something with this software, as I've seen some truly amazing works by people who used it. I remember feeling put to shame actually, that someone using freeware was able to outdo a work I created with premium software, but I took it as a humbling learning experience. I hope one day I can become as good as she was years ago, but hope doesn't mean anything if I don't try hard.
