I made this modern-looking The Bard's Tale desktop background wallpaper for a 1920x1080 HDTV screen.
Inspired by the Commodore Amiga interface for the 1987 role playing game The Bard's Tale II: The Destiny Knight, I created this background with a scroll and stonework portal looking out at a medieval castle. You can click here to see what the original interface looked like, for comparison.
(Note: This was designed in 2012 as a new interface for The Bard's Tale Compendium website, so please feel free to download and use this as your desktop wallpaper, but do not use it as a basis for a website design... thanks!)
