Dirty, Nasty Hobbitses

I made a little Hobbit-inspired dwelling that goes under a dome. I took some liberties to make it my own thing. For instance, the inhabitant isn't really keeping a golden ring so much as a golden bangle? I mean, would you even SEE a golden ring at this scale anyway? Well, something you can't actually see is that, through the little window, there was actually also a writing desk with an ink bottle, feather, stacks of books, and even shelves with potted plants. There isn't any interior light so you just can't see in that shadowed part of the house. Maybe with a flashlight? Oh well, I guess you can just know they're there. You should also know there are probably dirty dishes in the sink too. And a mouse problem. Seriously, it's bad.

Thanks for asking! I'm not sure if it's still available. I send most of my work to a local gallery or boutiques. This one was sent to a local shop but they do sell in-store goods online. You could always contact them through e-mail or phone and ask if the 'hobbit terrain under glass' is still available. I get 70% from sales there and 30% goes to support a small shop owner :> Here's how to contact them:  www.otherworldsstore.com/

I also do work for people on request as custom work. The fastest way to reach me/place I check the most is facebook www.facebook.com/MeandrousArt but if you don't use facebook, you can message me here on DA. I do have a little bit of a line on custom work at the moment, but it's only a few weeks out.

Cheers!

Depending on the price I have to save a lil bit anyways but your art just looks too gorgeous!!
Just a little question but... you do ship international, don't you? :DDD
I live in Germany so there're probably shipping costs too ://

Well it's not perfect obviously XD I think with anything we make there's always things we'd change or do differently. Some of my successes are due to using the right scale materials for the job so it doesn't look too funky, the rest is just being patient and willing to do it I guess. XD I know miniatures aren't everyone's bag but I find it really relaxing.

I've never managed to read the books all the way through. I have a disability that makes reading an issue so I like to make arts like this that make stories visual so we can experience them in different ways. :>

I'm so sorry to hear that.:( (Sad)
But I'm really happy for you to have a way to experience them, there's always more than one way to do something.Meow :3

I have worked with small things too before ( nothing as fancy as yours, though) but I can say it's fun and hard,
I tend to get glue on my fingers, ha,ha,ha. I'm really not very good at it.
