people get crazy whenever i just start wardering and pacing around and just are wondering what the heck I'm doing

I've gotten in trouble quite a few times with my parents when I was younger for wandering off in department stores.  Typically, I'd be playing (hide-and-seek mostly) with my brother in the coat racks...but I remember a couple times when I legit wandered to another area (from the men's department since I was with my dad, to the children's department since I'm short enough to still use those sizes...and they're cheaper).

I wander too, mostly because of stimulation.

Did you ever ask your teacher if you could sit in the back of the class so you could stand up and move around a little? One of my hightshool teachers let me do that.

Nope.  In high school, I got an unlimited pass to the guidance office, however, so if I started to have issues I could go there.  Only one teacher ever gave me trouble over it.

My last couple years in high school were at a specialty/special-ed school for kids with disabilities (mental and physical), so there were a little more in the way of accommodations.

why do you say 'welp' instead of 'well' ?

I love wandering. One of my favorite song lyrics goes "-And on through the night they did walk for a while, till their steps turned to blocks and their blocks turned to miles, and they followed that path for as long as they could-"
mdchan Featured By Owner Apr 18, 2015  Hobbyist Artist's just something I picked up.  One of my friends used to say it years ago, and I really looked up to him, so I picked it up as well and used it.  Then, it just sort of stuck and felt more "natural" to say than saying "well".

Yeah, I tend to wonder a lot because I get bored easily.

I like doing that;–
I like memorising stuff, even if it's made up.

I get those same urges. Not that I fully understand autism, but I do get that.

My mom always had a tight grip on my hand when I was younger whenever we went places because I had a tendancy to wander away when she wasn't looking ("Oooh! Shiny!"). I wouldn't pay attention to what was around me, just how to get from point A to point B, so I would walk out in the middle of the road without looking or walk into some other possibly dangerous situation without noticing. Didn't help that I was an accident prone child either.

Wandering off, one of the most Unexplainable (Sometimes) about this

my Solution to this urge (To me at least) is meditation
