Way back when I wrote a story that resulted in Yaska Dickess being shot in the back, his spinal cord was severed- he couldn't walk. The answer I came up with was a "Spinal junction box" that served as a bridge between the remaining nerves. Today, I read an article about a process that sounds a lot like this- and it works.
Yaska's story: The real story can be found here:

But the Freedom of Speech is a guaranteed right in this country and it's a right I will exercise till the day I die...
There are those in this country that are trying to ignore certain facts about this country. They are trying to ignore the fact that the American Indians shared their food with those British Puritans that first winter they spent on this continent- ignoring the fact that they would have died without that help.
Thoughts on Flag and Country by mdbruffy (https://www.deviantart.com/mdbruffy), Jun 30, 2011, 7:05:06 PM Journals / Personal In the six years I've been here at DeviantArt, I've never written anything in this journal- never felt the need or had anything I felt was worth the time and effort- until now.
For those of you that don't know, I live in the United States of America- the State of West Virginia to be exact. Which means, that- for us- next Monday is the Fourth of July- our Independence Day.

The next 4 stories in Arrow's series call for several dogs- malamutes like Samantha is supposed to be. At the time I introduced Sammie, I was forced to fall back on the Wolf 2.0 figure from Daz Studio which uses what's called "Dynamic hair". This hair slows Poser's rendering process a great deal. Trying to use two or more of these as base figures- even if I could get the textures right- would slow Poser to a crawl or crash it completely.
So does anyone know where I can find a malamute figure that I can use? I need one that will work in Poser Pro. Renderosity, Daz and Hivewire are all no-go. I've considered searching the internet for png ima
I feel that this journal- originally posted January 12, 2012- has more relevance today than ever, so I'm re-posting it:
Tyranny and Truth by mdbruffy (https://www.deviantart.com/mdbruffy), Jan 25, 2012, 2:16:25 PM Journals / Personal It's a fact that Tyranny and Truth have always been on opposite sides. That's because Tyranny can not exist in the face of Truth.
Unjust governments throughout history have fallen to revolution brought about by the revelation of truth.
Tyrants are afraid of Truth- it's fatal to them and their rule. As such, they try to avoid it- bury it, burn it- and in this day and age, shut it down or delete it.
But like the Cattle Bar
Does anyone know of a -possibly-free modeling program that is very basic, very easy to learn and very quick to learn? I'm not talking rigging here. I just want to model a static head- I'll add the rest in photoshop if I have to.
