Way back when I wrote a story that resulted in Yaska Dickess being shot in the back, his spinal cord was severed- he couldn't walk. The answer I came up with was a "Spinal junction box" that served as a bridge between the remaining nerves. Today, I read an article about a process that sounds a lot like this- and it works.

Don't know if anyone else has found these videos on YouTube, but I feel they're good enough to post a link to. You won't believe them till you see them:

Salvage One
Just re-watched this TV movie the other night on You Tube. I hope folks remember it. It's the one staring Andy Griffith as a Junk Yard owner who wanted to build a spaceship, go to the moon and salvage all the gear left up there.
I won't say how the movie ends in case someone hasn't seen it.
What I want to know is this: Does anyone know what ever became of the Vulture? The ship. Does it survive somewhere or was the full scale mock-up torn apart when the series ended?
I f anyone knows, I hope you'll tell me.
PDF Problem
With the last PDF file I posted, I couldn't help notice a change in the reader presentation. There's a side bar that wasn't there before. Does anyone know how to shut it off so it doesn't keep showing up everytime I click on the file?
DA's submission mess
Once again, DA's submission process is messed up. Once again, it thinks that PDF files are videos! Thus preventing me from uploading any 'Dickess' stories at this time.
Is anyone else having this problem?
