Evening began to fall as Bastion finally tracked down the warehouse they were after. They’d been stuck on a wild goose chase, trying to follow Silver Bullet’s instructions on where to find the Mechanic, but for some reason, she seemed to always be one step behind. Eventually, she had just turned her communicator off, and begun the search themselves, tracking possible movements of mechanical parts and old wreckage from the Hero Guild incident. It had finally led her to what was supposed to be an old, unused warehouse by the docks. Bastion snuck their way inside, as best as they could, being that they were a 7ft tall robot from outer space.
Slipping through an upper window, and taking cover behind some old crates, she was surprised at what she found waiting for her in there.
