- Real name: Scrooge McDuck
- Titles: "the King of Klondike", "the Master of the Mississippi", "the richest duck in the world", "the Last of the Clan McDuck", "the Empire Builder from Calisota", "the Terror of the Transvaal", "the orneriest cuss in the Outback" and several other scary (but not quite accurate) names
- Height: 1'40'' | 41 cm
- Weight: 20 lbs | 7 kg
- First appearance: "Christmas on Bear Mountain" (from Four Color Comics #178, in December of 1947) by Carl Barks
- Last appearance: ///// (comics are still ongoing)
- Likes: Money, diamonds, rubies, his family, All-You-Can-Eat chinese restaurants
- Dislikes: Losing money, profiteers, swindlers, modern feminists
- Main theme: Scrooge McDuck doesn't have a main theme. He's got an entire album of main themes, all composed by the popular band Nightwish songwriter and keyboard player, Tuomas Holopainen, as an homage to The Lifes and Times of $crooge McDuck. g.co/kgs/dszCTr
- Was originally created as a one-shot villain to Donald, but Barks liked his character so much that he quickly turned him into a hero, just like Donald himself
- Is the main character of the popular comic series The Lifes and Times of $crooge McDuck by Don Rosa, the animated show Ducktales, and appears in more than 8 movies, 8 TV shows, 16 videogames and lots of comic series, some of them still ongoing today
- Born in Glasgow (Scotland), 1867. Currently lives in his moneybin situated on the Killmotor Hill in Duckburg (Calisota) and is still today portrayed in his sixties/seventies (due to having drank water from the Fountain of Youth for several days in his early ages)
- His name is based on that of Ebenezer Scrooge from A Christmas Carol, while his looks were most likely inspired from those of the spendthrift manifestation of Donald in the propaganda short The Spirit of '43
- The verse "might solve a mistery... or rewrite history!" in the Ducktales main theme is literal: in the comics, Scrooge was the one who convinced the now 26° President of the U.S.A. Theodore Roosevelt to embark a career in politics (so Scrooge is the reason Teddy Roosevelt became president). In his past, Scrooge also worked for manager Murdo MacKenzie and fought alongside Geronimo, Buffalo Bill, Anne Oakley and Phineas Taylor Barnum. He also went on the Titanic, coined the exclamation "Geronimo!", is the reason to why Standing Bull became the Sitting Bull, has invented concrete, financed the Lumière brothers (basically made the cinema’s creation possible) and is the cause to a lot of other things that happened in history.
- Not only he influenced history, but he’s also known by a couple of Gods from various mythologies: talking about Disney’s originals, the God of Chaos Solego is buried under his moneybin, and his business intuition has beaten the Blinded Goddess’ luck before. He was also offered by divine hero Väinämöinen (from the work of epic poetry Kalevala) to become Eternity together with him once, but refused
- In his Klondike days had a crush on singer Goldie O'Gilt, and after their disastrous love/hate relationship and her death, he started to neglect every kind of love affair. Now, he's constantly stalked and besieged by Brigitta McBridge, a goofy yandere-ish woman obsessed with him. Even though Scrooge rudely rejects her on a daily basis and still has feelings for the deceased Goldie, it's implied that he's slowly starting to fall in love with her. Slowly. Magica DeSpell, one of his most dangerous enemies, apparently has a crush on him too, and antagonizes him so much only because she was forced to do so.
- The Glasgow City Countil has included Scrooge in the list of its honor citizens, alongside the likes of Sir Alex Ferguson and Charles Rennie Mackintosh. The Glasgow council spokesman also said that they are extremely proud to have him on the list (www.glasgow.gov.uk/index.aspx?…)
- A drawing of Scrooge playing with his money was chosen by the Apple employees to be used to test the Apple II scanner and display, thus making it the very first image ever displayed on a Macintosh computer
- Astro Boy creator, Osamu Tezuka, stated that many characteristics of the action scenes and the overall dark tones of his manga were inspired by The Lifes and Times of $crooge McDuck (one of his all-time favorite comics), thus making the scottish duck one of the main inspirations for the very first concept of mangas
- A tax in the Netherlands is literally named after him ("Dagobertducktaks", which was also chosen as "Word of the Year 2014")
Backstory
At the age of 13, he leaves Scotland and his family to work as a riverboater in Mississippi, America, together with his uncle. Here, the latter dies two years later, and the family of outlaws called "the Beagle Boys" begin to harass the little Scrooge, even destroying his riverboat, leaving him without a job. After a short career as a cowboy hired by Murdo MacKenzie, the scottish duck decides to become a miner and search for silver and copper. He befriends the millionaire Howard Rockerduck, who became rich thanks to the California gold rush of 1849. Howard's spoiled kid, John Rockerduck, will then grow up to be one of Scrooge's main rivals.
After a quick return to his homeland to defend his Clan's castle from being bought, Scrooge decides to tempt fate by searching gold in South Africa, where he saves the life of a duck named Flintheart Glomgold, who will grow to be the second richest duck in the world and Scrooge's ruthless mortal enemy. His search in South Africa fails, so he continues it in Mississippi and Australia, but fails once again.
When he finally decides to participate in the Klondike Gold Rush, he begins by exploring the White Agony Creek, a territory untouched by man, as it was said to be protected by a giant monster living in a cave. Scrooge soon discovers that the "giant monster" simply was the well-conserved corpse of a mammuth, so he passes through, starts mining and discovers the Goose Egg Nugget, a legendary gold nugget of incredible dimensions.
As soon as the other gold diggers hear about the scottish duck's success, they begin to exclude and badmouth him, filled with jealousy and remorse for not having found the nugget before him. A group of gold diggers guided by profiteer Soapy Slick even kidnaps him and tries to torture him by taking the mick out of him and his family's recent tragedies, but that costs them all of their lives, and the destruction of the cruise ship they were standing on.
Right after the accident, Scrooge goes to a local saloon in which she meets the singer (and as implied many times in the uncensored versions, also a prostitute) "Glittering" Goldie O' Gilt, and he falls in love with her right away. Unfortunately, Goldie takes advantage of his sincere love and drugs him to steal the nugget and all of his gold. Feeling betrayed, Scrooge doesn't give up: he returns to the saloon, beats up all of her guards, force her to write a one thousand dollars I.O.U., takes the Nugget back and kidnaps her, forcing her to work as a miner for him, underpaying her even.

After that Goldie goes through an inner conflict about whether to begin a possible relationship with Scrooge or not, her crook nature prevails, so she steals a billion dollars, escapes, and frames Scrooge for a crime he never committed. The King of Klondike will only meet her again 50 years later, when she repays her debt and entrusts her grand-daughter Dickie Duck to him.
Anyway, after the heartbreak, Scrooge sets in to continue mining gold and making all kinds of deals around the world to become a billionaire. He then goes to Scotland and convince his sisters to move with him in Duckburg, Calisota, where he begins to turn it into a modern metropolis. His dad stays in their castle, where he dies a few minutes later.
Scrooge continues to do business, beginning to lose a bit of himself in the way bycommitting immoral acts (such as forcing an african tribe to get off their land, which results in a voodoo wizard casting a curse on him, that consists in a zombie stalking him forever) to accomplish some deals. Matilda and Hortense (and the latter's twin kids, Donald and Della Duck), disgusted by Scrooge's behaviour, abandon him forever.
More than fifteen years later, Scrooge finally gets too lonely and invites Donald (now an adult) and his nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie for Christmas. Even though Donald initially seems to despise him, the three kids' curiosity for Scrooge's past convinces the King of Klondike to tell them the story of his life, and even Donald begins to respect him after hearing it.
And just after telling them his story, the new generation of Beagle Boys attack the moneybin: finally, the King of Klondike stands up and shows everyone what he's truly capable of, by defeating and stopping them.
After that Christmas, Scrooge got back to be the great explorer he once was, actively continuing to get richer by exploring the planet like in his younger days, but, this time, in the company of his nephews.
Don Rosa has drawn a comic strip that portrays Scrooge dead at the age of 100 with all of his relatives crying over his grave, but he himself stated that his death is non-canon, and he said that if Scrooge should ever die, it should happen in a desolate, wild location and his body would be never found again.
Scrooge's adventures still continue today in multiple, on-going comic series.

YOU ARE TOTALLY FREE TO USE THIS BIO IN YOUR FIGHTS, JUST MAKE SURE TO TAG ME IN THE DESCRIPTION. Thanksies!
If you have any questions, just ask.
HUGE THANKS to
Infinite thanks also to
Regarding the bio itself, I think that something like a 2v2 battle with Scrooge and Donald on the same team would be something truly great, as they tend to really show the best of theirselves when together. There's also a wonderful Donald bio made by
DEATH BATTLE @ ScrewAttack Entertainment LLC
Scrooge McDuck @ The Walt Disney Company

I still wanted to make sure I got to see your full bio before I get too far into deliberating the verdict of the matchup, as I learned some new factors that played into the matchup just from reading this.
And things like his Super Scream, fire breathing, etc. make good offensive abilities in the fight, and it's honestly going to make writing a rage-fueled Scrooge a lot more fun.
