This one has a very boring process. lol~

It felt rather quick. Maybe 12 hours or so.

The key is using my own pencil drawing, make a copy and blurred it, and then paint on top of it. Saved a lot of time and retained the details.

Whoa... I always have trouble inking pieces, I hadn't thought of using the sketch like that... I think I'll try it with my next piece.

That is really amazing, the steps you took to get to your finished product. Just out of curiosty, did you do all the detailed colouring on the speed paint layer? o:

Yes, I merged my speed paint layer with my pencil after I set the majority of the value and then continue to paint the details over it.

mostly on one layer, sometimes to adjust lighting I make new layers then merge them
I tend to work with as little bit of layers as possible.
