Prologue: Six Soldiers They say war is violent, barbaric, and young men are sent to die for no real cause. Yet also, it’s seen as an art form. According to Sun Tzu, the art of war is a vital part to the survival of the state, as it paves the road either to safety…or to ruin. As a soldier myself, my stance is: sometimes we don’t have a choice. The only way to solve our problems is to fight. December 7, 1941, taught me that lesson. And they say longer wars lead to longer peace. Given the chance, I am willing to prove that theory true.
For many years, I have served my country. I have done my part to ensure the safety and protection of the Star-Spangled Banner, both at home and overseas, and I am more than proud to be doing so. My faith has always been strong, both to God and country.
