The Character’s Appearance
General Appearance: Max's pale skin and blue eyes mark him as different from the rest of his clan, at least on the outside. His body shows the effects of growing up Mandalorian, strong but not huge, for lack of a better word to describe it. Max wears a customized suit of Mandalorian armor, in shades of blue, distinct from the armor of his fellow Mandos by its blue coloration and sleeveless undersuit He tends to forget to shave regularly, resulting in a beard and mustache growing under his helmet.

About the Character
Personality: Max has inherited his father's creativity, his mother's pragmatism, and his birth parents' curiosity. Put together, they make him a cunning warrior, and a more than capable strategist/tactician. Outside of combat, Max is very reserved and quiet around strangers, but quick to warm up to friends of friends or family.
Favorites: Fighting for Mandalore/the Rebellion; the Ghost crew; his own crew
Least Favorites: The Empire; political squabbling in Mandalorian space; Clan Saxon; Death Watch
Sketching; composing poems; studying historical battle tactics
The destruction of his home, family, or friends by the Empire; the dark
Always has to be doing something with his hands, if he's not using something, he'll tend to fidget with it if there is nothing more pressing on his mind.
When in his comfort zone, Max talks pretty fast, and can go on about a topic for so long he'll forget what he's talking about. Though he speaks Galactic Basic fluently, even when talking to non-Mandalorians, he has a tendency to slip into Mando'a words or phrases.
Marksmanship; hand-to-hand and melee combat; poetry; sketching
Creative, pragmatic, intelligent, not afraid to try new things, loyal
Unfocused, easily distracted, leaps before looks
Good; believes Mandalore should have the right to govern itself, same for the rest of the Galaxy; believes family is more important than honor
Freeing Mandalore and the Galaxy at large.
The Character’s Relationship With Others
Max's own crew trusts him with their lives; the crew of the Ghost trust him on Sabine's word; in Mandalorian space he's seen as somewhat disruptive; to the Rebellion he's a valuable asset, and to the Empire, an annoyance at best.
Shaore Kast (On-again, off-again girlfriend)
Gavin Vao (Current BF)
(Repeat If Needed)
Shaore Kast: Shaore and Maxon grew up in Mandalorian space, and both share a hatred of the Empire's oppression. They've lead a resistance cell on Mandalore together, joined the Alliance together. She is one of his closest friends and confidants, and they've had an on-and-off romance over the years. She's the muscle on Gavin's team.
Gavin Vao: The leader of Max's team. A Twi'lek from Ryloth, Gavin is determined to see his home freed from the Empire's grip. Maxon found his admiration for Gavin developing into romantic feelings over time, they're currently an item.
Bartrius Raszi: The "heart" of the team, Bart is a Mirialan youth, who joined the Alliance when his family was sent to Kessel for suspected Rebel sympathies. Bart tends to bring up less violent solutions the rest of the team may overlook, such as diplomacy.
Clemm'dame'biawor - Clem is Gavin's second-in-command. A Chiss, most of the team knows very little about her, though she tries her best to be polite and friendly, but Gavin seems to be very close to her.
Ghost Crew: As compatriots in the fight for freedom, Max and his team have crossed paths with the Spectres on occasion. Most important among them is Sabine, Maxon's sister, more on her later. He has much respect for Hera, and Kanan, as Max was a child when the Jedi fought alongside the New Mandalorians. Zeb is hard to get along with, but he's alright. Chopper's a pain in the ass to Max. As for Ezra, he's quite amused hearing about the kid's early attempts at chatting up his sister, and okay he may have indulged in making the poor kid sweat once, but in general he's supportive of however their relationship turns out.
Clan Wren: Maxon's clan. He was adopted into them, and he estranged himself after they disowned Sabine. Her return to Krownest helped Maxon do his own reconciliation with his family.

Clan Wren is one of the warrior clans of Mandalore, hailing from the frigid planet of Krownest. In the Mandalorian Civil War, Clan Wren sided with Pre Vizsla and Death Watch against Duchess Satine Kryze's New Mandalorians. After the Empire took over, Clan Wren served as vassals to the Empire. When Ursa Wren's daughter Sabine defected from the Imperial Academy, Clan Wren disowned her. This action estranged Maxon from his clan, and he sought information on his real family. The Keithels were cultural anthropologists, studying civilizations and their histories. Their older child, a girl named Mira, was not present when they were killed, but now continues her family's work, though holds a grudge against the Mandalorians, especially those who sided with Death Watch.
Maxon Keithel was born on Corellia to anthropolgists Daymar and Cerra Keithel, in the waning years of the Old Republic. Maxon was with his parents on Mandalore, where they were studying the history of the various clans. They had been tracing the family tree of Clan Wren, unaware that the clan had sided with Death Watch during the civil war. During a fight between Death Watch and New Mandalorian police, the Keithel adults were killed by a stray rocket. Out of guilt for orphaning the child, Ursa Wren adopted Maxon into her clan, where she raised him as her own. On Krownest, Maxon grew into a capable warrior, with a keen mind for strategy and tactics and his adopted father's eye for art. He was close to his siblings, especially Sabine, who was even more of an artist. When Sabine's defection from the Empire lead to her being disowned, Maxon left the formal service of his clan in disgust, accusing Ursa of valuing her standing more than her own daughter.
From there he reunited with his childhood friend, Shaore Kast, and the two led a small cell of resistance against Gar Saxon, the Imperial viceroy of Mandalore, and his buckethead goons. After a plan went wrong, Max and Shaore were forced to flee the planet in stolen fighters, and later they were picked up by Gavin Vao's ship, the Unbound. Joining "Team Unbound", Max found himself and Shaore being drawn into the burgeoning Rebel Alliance. On their own, or with the rest of the Unbound crew, the two Mandalorians undertook a number of daring missions for the Rebels, eventually reuniting with Sabine, meeting her own cell, and eventually reconciling with Clan Wren.
