This Rainmeter skin will display the exchange rates for three currencies. You can convert from or to a specific currency. The currencies are selectable as is the amount converted. There are a few different backgrounds to pick from. Help with currency codes is included. Rates are updated once an hour, the figures are obtained from Google finance and a direct link to the relevant page is available.

I want to set three different base currencies against one single currency to check my home currency's value against different currencies. How can I set three different base currencies? help me out on this one please.

Sorry for the delay, I've not been around for a while. To change the direction of the exchange just change the From or To value in the select currencies panel, it should be 1 for From or 0 for To.

never mind I've got it ;)

Why did you choose a No Derivative Works license? Your file states Share Alike and yet this page says No Derivative Works...

Your underlying code is great and it would serve so well if people were allowed to re-skin this. I am very disappointed you have chosen to prevent derivative works.
I'm totally with you on this.  I would love this to be skinned like the Glasses theme.

so useful, thank you~
thank you so much for this wonderful app that makes it easier to keep track of currency exchange rate!
but how do i make it so that i can see both ways of the exchange rate?

for example, right now i can only set to see the currency exchange rate of:-
Base -> USD
Base -> EUR
Base -> GBP

or

USD -> Base
EUR -> Base
GBP -> Base

i want to make it so that some are Base -> Others and Others -> Base in one window, such as:-
Base -> USD
Base -> EUR
GBP -> Base

either this or another way is to have 2 skins, one showing Base -> Others and the other skin showing Others -> Base

wow... this is perfect!!
from the screenshot alone I thought i would have a hard time styling it, but it was super easy, and I don't even know how to edit the skins INI configs, I just changed the numbers and done

here is a screenshot of how it appears here... it looks so amazing, this work deserves much more credit

if u want a feedback, just try to change ur form of presentation, adding more screenshots in different enviroments, cuz my impression here is that this skin is so much more amazing than it looks (presented)

Very impressive! I can't believe nobody commented yet

Can we use your idea for a Omnimo Currency Exchange Panel? I'd include your credits and a link to your gallery within the panel, you could also submit it to your gallery as a official Omnimo Addon :)

Yes please go ahead. I would be honoured.

Mark.

Oh awesome! We'll include a variant then, with your solution. We've been using Yahoo which probably is prone to more changes than Google's link format.

Let me know what kind of content do you want in the "about" part of the widget.

I'm not at all fussy. You can take anything you need from the Metadata in the CurrencyX skin.

Mark.

Never mind, we found an easier way.
