For pretty much the whole history of U.S. military aviation, all branches (including the Coast Guard) used the same roundel, using only different rudder insignia. It's the same today, with only the "racing stripe" on Coast Guard aircraft to differentiate them from Department of Defense aircraft. BTW, this chart does show the variations of roundels and rudder markings...
