Ok! Now the deadline for submissions is over (March 15th), and the contest for animal rights I started here two months and a half ago is open for votes (by the members of the Group of Studies on Animal Rights)! I expect to announce the winners just after the next monthly meeting of the group (March 31st).
Anyway, I´m really happy: we got a huge interest and efforts from so nice, talented and skilled people. The great result are 34 entries, that you can see in our folder! Oh, I thank you all soooo much for this! I´m a novice in deviantArt, and I didn´t expect to have so many incredible artworks promoting the cause of animal rights here, because it´s not much recognized yet!
And you know, dear participant: even if your work is not selected, you have already got your prize: you created an art that can be used to show that non-human animals deserve respect, and you´re helping to change the world to a better place to live, one that we can be prouder of.

Selection of literature for animal rights book!
Hi! I´m inviting every writer in the world who cares for animals rights sake to submit your creations so we can publish a book about this issue! This book will be at least an e-book in Amazon, but I´d like to make a printed version also.
You can send your literature until January 31st 2014. The length of the text should be of about 8,000 characters (with spaces), which means about 1350 words or a bit more than two pages. You can submit a longer length text or more than one work, but then you should contribute more for the project (read more below).
And make sure to know what I mean by animal rights: it´s the abolitionist a
Results of the 2nd Arts for Animal Rights Contest!
Hello, dear friends! Finally, we have the results of the 2nd Arts for Animal Rights Contest - https://mauriciokanno.deviantart.com/journal/Arts-for-Animal-Rights-Contest-2013-351750213 ! Maybe some weren´t communicating enough about animal rights, in spite of they are very good arts, for example. Or maybe not the way people liked... A

Your challenge is to create (or offer, if made since 2010) a nice piece of art supporting animal rights, doing your best to show to the world the importance of respecting ALL the animals (you´ll likely focus on just one or some of them, but I mean, please c
