Description

My 10 min Flash animation I made in Tsukuba University, Japan, in 2008, during my scholarship (4 months) provided by Japan International Cooperation Agency.

Without sound, presents information about the environmental damage by cattle breeding (which includes of course meat producing and animals slaughter).

:iconcritique-it:

1) Is it too boring, with so much information? The way the information is presented is ok?
2) The visual art is nice, with proper drawing stylization and effects?
3) Is it cute and proper for all kinds of public?
4) Is the plot of the documentary acceptable?
5) The absence of sound is a bad thing to the animation? Putting sound would help it a lot?
6) Do you feel any motivation about changing your habit of consuming animals by watching this movie?

I don't think that the amount of information made it at all tedious, however I do feel that it was quite a long presentation. This is nothing major and probably comes down to personal preferance.

2) The visual art is nice, with proper drawing stylization and effects?
The visual art was good, yes, however I feel it wasn't very professional. I've used flash multiple times and I empathise with how hard it is often to create a great looking animation - I can't do it, even with my graphics tablet. The animation, on the other hand, is wonderfully executed and very smooth.

3) Is it cute and proper for all kinds of public?
Yes

4) Is the plot of the documentary acceptable?
I think so, yeah.

5) The absence of sound is a bad thing to the animation? Putting sound would help it a lot?
I'd prefer it with sound - I think it'd make it more interesting and easier to follow too.

6) Do you feel any motivation about changing your habit of consuming animals by watching this movie?
As much as I enjoyed this presentation, my meat-eating habits will be staying the same, sorry.
