I've been neglecting my deviant art account, so I figure I'll upload a couple of pictures I've taken. Recently my friend hattie told me about HDR, I knew the technique, but never really tried it. I did a little experiment and was happy with the results, so you'll be likely to see some of those when I get the hang of it (it's proving difficult to master, especially with a rubbish tripod like mine).

Due to my ever changing taste, I'm cleaning up a few of my submissions. Don't ask me why I care so much about them, I guess I view DA as a showcase of my best work, and I get frustraited after a while with some of my pieces because to be honest I don't think they're very good. I've just come back from a canal holiday, and I took around 250 shots from there, now I've been taking photographs for about a year, I should hope that I took some nice ones, so I'll be choosing some of the best to upload. Also I probably have some nice shots buried in my computer some where that I can upload. Any ways, see ya'll for now Matt

It's finally come through, my new sigma 18-200 lens arrived at my grandmas house today, and imediatly drove over to have a look at it. I must say, I'm not the least bit dissapointed, landscapes have been made just so much easier, when I have it on 18mm the lines of perspective became insane, the AF is amazing, so quick and quiet. I've fallen in love with it and I've barely known it for a day. Hopefully this will allow me to take a lot of decent landscapes and wild life shots that I'm more than happy to share with DA.
