Gaelic-English Community Crest

Here's a treat for you all ahead of Saint Patrick's Day, to all my fellow Irish-Anglians

Massive thanks to my friend, @AnagataJavanese, for bringing my design idea for the Gaelic-English/Irish-Anglian community to life.

The shield contains a Caledonian Blue centre, and trinity of shields with an English Dog Rose, an Irish shamrock, and the unifying symbol of both our countries, the Blackthorn Tree!

As a man whose roots go deep into Irish soil, I am proud of what my ancestors have done for the world, and no less for the culture of my country!

We have produced so many legends who have redefined the landscape of Englishness, and here's a short list of such icons of sport, drama, literature and music:

- Harry Kane (England football captain and highest scoring player for the Three Lions)

- Christopher Nolan (filmmaker and director of Memento, Inception, Interstellar & The Dark Knight Trilogy).

- Michael Caine (legendary actor).

- Jill Murphy (author of The Worst Witch.)

- Owen Farrell (England National Rugby Union Team Captain).

- Josh "Pretty Boy" Kelly (boxer).

- Paul McCartney and John Lennon (founding members of the Beatles).

- Dusty Springfield (Soul Singer, born Mary O'Brien).

- Ann-Marie Duff (actress)
