I'm just wondering, how'd you get the electronics in there? I'm designing a mini munny and am struggling to figure out how to do it so I can actually replace the battery if needed.. as far as electronics go I can actually design it myself, but I'm not sure how to get it all in (without the need to bake afterwards, 'cause electronics usually don't like it)

well i usually do a mock up of the electronics to go in it...then if need be i will sculpt...but when i use electronics i do not use clay that needs baking. I use magic sculpt...which is a two part epoxy clay that dries by air...i like it better than super sculpey.....as far as the battery replacement goes I usually leave some lil way to get them back out either by making a hatch or cutting the bottoms of the feet open

how would you make a hatch in the back of the head? (I'm thinking of putting a 9V in there along with a microcontroller and LEDs and stuff)

Well if its a munny its fairly simple...just cut the desired shape intot he vinyl...but i suggest doing so at somewhat of a slant when you are using the knife....to keep the cut out piece from being able to push completely thru or fall inside it that way it lines back up alot easier and fits snug and flush...after that I usually make some latches out of a hi gauge wire and fasten some rivet style screws or something of that nature to attach the latches to...they will be used to keep the opening in place and look more aesthetically appealing....i have also molded the actual shape of a plastic hatch that you can find on most toys with the little pull tab thing...and just notch the vinyl so that it will lock into place.....viola you got yourself a battery compartment.....hope that helps...feel free to ask anything else...ill help out the best i can..and good luck with the custom

I was about to ask if it does RROD, but someone already mentionned it... :( I felt so original about the joke.

Seriously, this is a nice one... how complicated it was to wire and install the leds??

Thanks....I also have a RROD version as well its in my gallery....the wiring of the leds and the xbox button were a little bit of a pain but not as bad as one would think

wow $225, do they even sell that high or is that just what you hope to get for it. and RROD would be more appropriate for me since my xbox suffered a massive RROD and died on me, haha

Yea actually most of the other custom artwork is priced higher than mine and most of them arent even functional. Like Reactor88. His artwork and munny designs are awesome but if you check his site and look at pricing there are only a handfull less than $150. I know its pricey but also You will have one of a kind piece. i will never make another one the same as the last and most likly I will only be making these 2 unless i get a huge demand for them . But in all honesty that price im only profiting about 40 bucks off it after what i had to spend on the munny itself and parts and materials to make it all work, and the time . I can sell it to you for $200 but thats as low as Im willing to go with it. If its out of your price range I completly understand. But thanks for showing so much interest in it. Out of curiousity what Price were you looking for? I try to make it a fair price and honestly most everyone that PM's me wanting to buy it tells me thats pretty cheap for what ive done but they just cant spend the cash at the moment haha....can't catch a break

$200 seems like a fair price, since you did have to go through all the trouble of getting the XBOX parts and getting it all to work. but yea i dont have near enough $200, i can barely come around with enough money to eat, maybe if it was bonus season i would consider it, haha
