I've seen a few pro artists receive this commission, and I'll be honest and say this one is one of the best in terms of style ^^.
Pretty much everything is flawless - the proportions, the lovely flowy hair, and that bow especially. Just a couple of things though that I think will make the piece even better...
I like how you added the shiny parts and highlight on her knees, shoulders and nose, but I think it stands out a tad too much, maybe it could be a little more balanced if you added some light shading (I think it's just the left leg that needs this, even though it is facing the light source) and it'll be perfect.
On the topic of shading, the ruffles on her skirt, from afar, the sharpness of most of the shadows makes the ruffles look a little flat and layered rather than the frilly sort. It depends more on the style though so it's up to you XD.
I'm not sure if this was part of the original design, but the drapey fabric behind the girl's skirt is quite rigid looking. The angle that the ruffles flare out is a bit too high, but that's not too much. It is mainly the hemline. The lines of the hem meet at a direct point, which is a bit more of a paper fold than a fabric fold, since fabric is heavier. If the hem line didn't meet at a point and instead continued as one squiggle/curved line, it would look more natural (example here, it's very helpful <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="366" title=" (Big Grin)"/> 25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m0w… . It doesn't look too paper like though since the shadows you added appeared to round the folds a little, so still a win C:
Now onto the colours. I think the whole picture is well harmonised, and the background suits it perfectly. Great choice to compliment the soft blues and pinks ^^.
