Felix It's time, for a Death Battle!!!
Destiny's Bounty flew swiftly over the streets of New York. It's destination was towards the Empire State Building. At the port side, Kai was getting himself ready to go in. He got two golden swords and placed them in the sheaths on his back. He walked over to the she just as the ship pulled up to the building. Kai turned towards the others. Cole, Jay, Zane, Lloyd, and Sensei Wu were there to see him off to his mission. "So, why am I doing this again?" Kai asked. "The Foot Clan have planted a bomb at the top floor of this building. The explosion will be massive, so much so that the whole building could come down!" Wu explained. "Why can't they come with?" Kai asked, pointing at the others. "There's more than one bomb around the city. There's one underwater, and right now, Zane's the only one who can reach it. That, and Lloyd must battle Shredder and win." Kai sighed as Wu's reasons were solid. Plus, Kai wasn't one to complain about everything. He turned toward the Empire State Building. "Remember, Kai! Red wire, then green, then blue!" Zane said. "Got it!" Kai pulled his ninja hood over his face, only revealing his eyes. He hopped onto the railing and quickly spun around, using Airjitzu.
*stop music*
On the top floor, a Foot Clan soldier had hit the floor, the last one, anyway. Sitting in the center of the room was a bomb, which Raphael walked towards to. Raphael took out an ear piece, made by Donatello, and put it on awkwardly. "Alright, I took out all the soldiers. Now what?" Raphael asked. On the other end, Donatello's voice spoke through the device. "Ok, now, pry open the side with screws around it. There will be wires on the other end. You cut them in this order; Red, green, and blue. Got it?" "Yeah." Raphael walked over to the side of the bomb where four screws sat in place, holding together a small plating. He took out a Sai and jammed it into the steel plating and forced it open. Five wires were on the other side of the plating, and Raphael careful cut the red, green, and then blue wires. The bomb had been successfully disarmed, and Raphael began to leave. However, Destiny's Bounty flew away from the building, and Raphael looked for a hiding place in the room. He leaped up high onto the celling, knowing someone was coming in.
The elevator opened up, and Kai jumped out, wielding his two gold katanas. The ninja looked around, seeing nothing but knocked out Foot Clan Soldiers. In the center, he found the bomb. Kai ran to it and checked on it, realizing that someone had disarmed it. "Well. Nothing I can do. Guess I'll wait for the others." He said, putting his swords away.
Raphael thought about the ninja's words. This red ninja must be a higher ranked Foot Clan Soldier, and he was brining in back up. Raphael could wait for the other soldiers to come in, then he could have a good fight, but this ninja right here, Raph knew he shouldn't be underestimated.
Raphael jumped down, taking out his two Sai's. "While you wait for your back up, how about we go a few rounds." He said. Kai turned, immediately taking out his golden katanas. "Huh?" He said in confusion. "You're a....turtle?"
Raphael leaped forward, kicking Kai in the face and sending him flying against the wall. Kai slumped down, but soon rolled out of the way of a ninja star thrown by the Ninja Turtle. Kai stood up and ran towards Raph, colliding weapons with him. Kai swung vertically, horizontally, anyway he could, but he blades were always blocked. Kai locked his blades with Raphael's Sai's, trying to push the turtle back. Instead, Raphael head butted Kai, making him stumble backwards.
Kai shook his head and got himself focused. He twisted his upper body, his swords pointing in the same direction. "Ninja...GO!" He shouted. In an instant, Kai spun around, and a mini tornado of fire surrounded him, and it spun slowly towards Raphael. "What!? What even is that!?" Raphael said. Raphael jumped forward, ready to beat the crap of his foe. However, as soon as he entered Kai's Spinjitzu, he felt Kai's blades slashing him multiple times with utter ease.
Kai kicked Raphael away, making him hit the wall. Raphael took out a grapple hook and fired it. Kai put one of the katanas away and caught the hook, wearing a cocky smug under his mask. "Got ya." Raphael said. He pulled the trigger, and the hook pulled Kai towards Raph in a sickening motion. Raphael jumped and flipped in the air to look cool before kicking Kai in the face midair.
Kai crashed through one of the windows and fell, but he was able to use Spinjitzu and hover back up. Kai got a firm grip on his katanas before running towards Raphael, swing the two golden blades. Raphael caught the katanas with his Sai and started to push against the blades. Kai tired his best to move the blades, but they were locked in place. Raphael used a lot of his strength, making his Sai's put even more force against the golden katanas when...
SNAP!
Kai staggered back, seeing his two golden blades no longer possessing, well, blades. Kai looked back at Raphael who ran towards him and jumped. "Cowabunga!" He shouted and delivered another kick to Kai's face, knocking him out the window again. Raphael stood there, assuming victory. He put his Sai's away and started to walk back to the center of the room. However, he heard a very loud noise, followed by a roar. He turned and quickly ran over to the window and looked down, only to be pushed back by a red blur passing by.
The Ninja Turtle stood back up and took out his weapons again. His opponent had returned in a way Raph couldn't have imagined. Kai was riding a fire dragon. "Ninja...." The Elemental Dragon Rose its upper body for a bit. "GO!" At Kai's command, the dragon flew forward, spinning around as it did. Raphael jumped away and hid in his shell, letting Kai pass through. The Elemental Dragon disappeared, and Kai rolled on the ground before stopping himself.
Raphael popped out of his shell and turned around, watching in utter shock as Kai lit his hands on fire without effort. Kai clenched his flaming fists and ran towards Raphael, throwing a punch. Raph avoided it, but was unable to dodge a flaming uppercut. Raphael hit the ground, his chin hurting from the fire. "I'm ending this. Now." Kai said. Both hands on fire, Kai looked as though he was charging a beam of fire. "Ninja..."
*stop music*
"HOLD IT!" A voice shouted from across the room. Kai turned around and Raphael lifted his head. Standing before them was Leonardo, Cole, Donatello, Zane, Michelangelo, and Jay. "Huh? There's more of them!?" Kai said. "Kai, stop. They're not our enemies!" Said Zane. Kai eased up, his hands no longer on fire. The other three Ninja Turtles ran over to help up three brother. Cole, Zane, and Jay walked up to Kai, who looked oh so very confused. "What is going on here?" He asked. "We found them trying to stop the bombs, too. In fact, they beat us to them. Fortunately, Zane and that guy with the purple mask decided to talk things out instead of fight. Turns out, they're trying to stop Shredder too." Jay explained. "Oh..." Kai said, a bit embarrassed he had almost killed the Ninja Turtle.
"I thought he was with the Foot Clan." Raphael said to his brothers. "We all did. But it turns out they're not." Leonardo said, helping Raphael up. The Ninja Turtles and the Ninja walked towards each other and then stopped. "I think I see what's going on. Shredder was trying to divide us and distract us from our goal. We need to find him." Michelangelo said. "But he could be anywhere." Said Cole. A few seconds afterwards, Destiny's Bounty hovered up to them. "Need a lift, guys?" Nya said. "Aw sweet! A flying pirate ship!" Michelangelo said, his eyes sparkling.
"We located Shredder! We need to act now!" Sensei Wu said. The four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles looked at each other and nodded. "Cowabunga!!!!" The four ran and jumped onto the Bounty. "Ninjago!!" The other Ninja ran and used Airjitzu and landed on the Bounty as the ship was taking off. Their real battle was just starting.
Felix: Ughh...that was so lame. Them teaming up at the end!? This was the one chance we could've seen a LEGO kill a turtle!
Axel: Yeah...well, too bad. This wasn't that close. At first glance, it looks like Raphael had it in the bag, but really, it was the other way around.
Felix: Raphael was stronger, more skilled, more experienced, and was better with stealth, but that's about it.
Axel: Kai had the advantage in every other category. His Fire abilities made it difficult for Raphael to properly fight him as he had never seen any Ninja use pyrokinetic abilities before. Not only that, but Spinjitzu was a move Raphael has never dealt with.
Felix: And how many ninjas has Raph faced that can fly, use fire, and summon dragons? Also none. Meaning even though he was more experienced, he's never gone up against someone like Kai before. Raphael got roasted in this fight. Completely and utterly burned.
Axel: The winner is Kai.
