So, I’ve been struggling to find good opponents for these characters. I would appreciate some help with them. I’m going to have some rules, however.
1. They have to make sense. It can’t be based on one similarity or “I pick so-and-so because I want to see it happen”. Majority of the characters are returning ones. I would appreciate some outside the box thinking. I try to do some myself, but I can’t all the time.
2. They cannot be matches that have already been claimed.
3. Please don’t suggest fights that could be a major stomp. I’m fine with something a little bit one-sided for the sake of an interesting fight between characters that have similarities.
With all that out of the way, I’ll show who I’m searching opponents for.
1. Link
It’s been a while since I’ve used Link in a fight. Sadly, two were against Sora and were very poorly written, and one was a stomp against Nightmare. I want something fresh. Specifically, I’m more leaning towards fights with specific reincarnations of Link as opposed to just jumbling them all into one and calling it a day. I am making Bios for individual Links, so I would actually like to use them sometime.
2. Sonic the Hedgehog
It’s been a while since I’ve actually used Sonic. Last time was against X from Mega Man X and he was also in that terribly written Gaming Mascot Battle Royal. He was going to fight against Link, buuuut I cancelled that because I lost interest in it, and it’s just a bad idea. I don’t exactly have specific ideas I want to use for him. While his Darrkspine and Excalibur Forms will probably show up in an updated Bio, I probably won’t use them in the fight.
3. Miles Morales Spider-Man
Here’s someone who I haven’t yet used. I’ve gotten a few ideas from others, but none of them really interest me. I know Deku from MHA is an option, I’m 100% sure that’s already been claimed because it’s a very easy match up to think of. I don’t have specific ideas for him, other than heavy Spider-Verse inspired moments for whatever fight he may be in.
4. Sora
Haven’t used Sora since Sora VS Saber. And while that was a pretty great fight not going to lie, I would like to implement and focus on Sora’s Kingdom Hearts 3 abilities. I would also bring up different Keyblade forms from that and previous games, not just the Ultima Weapon. I also need an excuse to get off my ass and beat those damn Data Organization members, which requires me to actually learn how to play the damn game, etc etc. Oooooooooor I’ll just look up a play through because I said at the game’s combat.
5. Mega Man
