Mewtwo V.S. Sans DEATH BATTLE The Fight

Cole: It's time, for a Death Battle!!!

Final Corridor. The legendary Pokémon, Mewtwo floated down in the hall. It had been through a lot since its journey through the Underground. It had been trapped here for quite a while. It couldn't teleport out as there had been some barrier keeping them from doing so. As it looked for a way out, it had encountered monsters on the way. 

Seeing as the monsters had hostile intentions, it slaughtered them. Each and every monster it had encountered, all but the one's that were peaceful, like that goat lady.

Mewtwo continued on, finally ready to get out of this place, but in front of them was a familiar figure. Mewtwo landed, they knew the figure all too well. They kept seeing him on their journey. It was Sans.

Sans stood across from Mewtwo, hands in his pockets. "You've been pretty busy, haven't you?" He asked. Mewtwo didn't care for what Sans had to say. "Step aside. I don't want to hurt you." Mewtwo threatened. "Is that what you said to Papyrus before you killed him?" Sans asked. Mewtwo crossed its arms. "He was a fool. Him and that fish girl tried to capture me because of my powers for your king's cause. I serve no one." 

Sans smiled. His left eye glowed blue and a flame came from it. "Well then, you're going to have a bad time." 

Before Mewtwo could do anything, Sans started sending a barrage of bones at them along with Gaster Blasters. Some bones and lasers from the Gaster Blasters hit Mewtwo before it got the idea and started dodging some of them. 

The Gaster Blasters lined up and started shooting at Mewtwo, but the Pokémon dodged the blasts. This was already a tough fight.

"Here we go." Sans said. Mewtwo charged up the Shadow Ball and fired it at Sans, only for the skeleton to dodge it. "You don't think I'd just stand there and take it, do you?" Sans asked before attacking Mewtwo with more bones. 

The Pokémon started flying around gracefully, dodging the bones with ease, but suddenly fell onto a big pile of them, damaging it a lot. Mewtwo didn't know what it was, but it felt like gravity was weighing down on it.

Sans started chuckling. "Feel familiar?" He asked. Mewtwo felt this thing before when it fought Papyrus. What was it called again? A Blue Attack? Mewtwo figured the name didn't matter. What did matter was getting Sans out of its way. Mewtwo used Psycho Cut, but again, Sans dodged it. 

"You can do better than that." Sans said. Mewtwo already had enough and used Psychic. Suddenly, Sans was lifted in the air and was going to be forcefully slammed into the ground. However, the skeleton just teleported out of it. Sans reappeared behind Mewtwo, closing one eye and shrugging. "Nice try there. But it's my turn." He said.

Sans lifted Mewtwo by its soul and started slamming it down in multiple places. Though like Sans, Mewtwo teleported out of the grasp as well. Sans summoned two Gaster Blasters and fired them. Mewtwo used Barrier and protected itself from the blasts, then it used Disable. 

Sans tried summoning more Gaster Blasters, but they didn't appear. Sans started chuckling. "You're better than I thought." He said. He started summoning more bones at Mewtwo. Mewtwo did its best to avoid them, still under the effects of the Blue Attack. Sans summoned a blue bone and threw it at Mewtwo. The Pokémon moved towards it, attempting to break it, but it only pushed Mewtwo with it, crashing into a wall. 

Sans whipped some sweat off his head, thinking he was done. But Mewtwo teleported to Sans, not looking too good either. Sans smiled as he had an idea. "You know, I think we should quit fighting. You're doing better than I thought. I don't want to fight anymore. Mewtwo smiled. "I don't wish to fight anymore either." It said.

Sans and Mewtwo stood there for a bit, but suddenly Sans rose his hand and multiple bones came from the ground, damaging Mewtwo a lot. "GEEEEEEET DUNKED OOOOOOONNNNNNNN!!!!" Sans shouted. He started laughing, but a big flash of light surrounded the room, forcing Sans to cover his eyes.

Sans reopened his eyes and floating in front of him was Mewtwo, but its appearance was way different. It was smaller, its tail looked like it was connected to its head, and what one would describe and half of a ring was on its head. It was Mega Mewtwo Y.

The now Mega Evolved Pokémon wanted to end things fast and used Aura Sphere. Sans laughed as he moved out of the way, but the attack curved around to hit him. Sans teleported to a pillar, waiting for the attack. The Aura Sphere was about to hit Sans, but the skeleton teleport behind the pillar, making the attack hit it. 

Mega Mewtwo Y used Swift and fired a bunch of stars at Sans. Sans tried dodging, but like before, they curved to hit him. Sans chuckled and teleported. Mega Mewtwo Y witnessed its own attack heading towards it. Mega Mewtwo Y tried to move out of the way, but Sans had grabbed onto its soul, making Swift hit the Mega Evolved Pokémon.

Sans threw Mega Mewtwo Y into one of the pillars, making it crash down. Mega Mewtwo Y stood up and used Recover. Next, it used Hyper Beam. A beam of energy was fired from its hands (if you can call it that) at Sans. Right then, Disable wore off, giving Sans access to his Gaster Blasters again. 

Sans summoned a Gaster Blaster and it fired its own beam, colliding with Hyper Beam. Though thanks to the Mega Evolution, Mewtwo was easily over powering it. Sans wouldn't let it do this, however, as two Gaster Blasters appeared behind Mewtwo and fired their beams, interrupting its attack. 

Mega Mewtwo Y turned, but the Gaster Blasters were gone from its view. Sans grabbed onto Mega Mewtwo Y's soul and started flinging it around. Like before, the Pokémon teleported out of it. 

Mega Mewtwo Y landed on the ground. Its opponent was strong indeed, so, time to change the game. Mewtwo used Psystrike, but Sans dodged again. Agitated, Mega Mewtwo Y was going to finish things right now. It used Power Swap and Guard Swap, switching the offensive and defensive stats, though it only felt weaker. 

"Gee. Thanks for the power boost." Sans said. Mega Mewtwo Y wondered what had happened, why didn't it feel stronger? Sans shrugged and closed his right eye. "Welp, time to end this. I told you, you were going to have a bad time." 

Sans summoned tons of Gaster Blasters around Mega Mewtwo Y and fired them all. Mega Mewtwo Y tried to dodge, but Sans made a blue bone fall on Mewtwo, slamming them to the ground. The Gaster Blasters opened fire on Mega Mewtwo Y, dealing more damage than before, destroying Mewtwo's soul in only a few hits. 

*stop music*

Sans stopped firing and the Gaster Blasters disappeared. Mewtwo laid on the ground, its soul completely destroyed. Sans turned to face you, the reader. "Surprised? You should've seen this coming. You especially, Alex. You know who you are..." Sans started walking away. 

Cole: Who the hell is 'Alex'?

David: How am I supposed to know? Anyway, this was a close one. Both Mewtwo and Sans could keep each other on edge. Though unfortunately for Mewtwo, it couldn't lay a single hit on Sans. 

Cole: Even Aura Sphere and Swift, moves that are undodgeable, were easily avoided by the skeleton. 

David: What's more is that Mewtwo was played in Sans' hands. It couldn't avoid the blue bone as it actually passes through you if you stay still, something that Mewtwo didn't know to do. It's also worth noting that Sans had multiple different ways to harm Mewtwo.

Cole: The Gaster Blasters acted like Ghost Type moves, a type effectiveness that Mewtwo is weak to. Karmic Retribution dealt damage over time, and Sans' attacks can harm the very soul of its opponent. 

David: Also, Mewtwo thought Sans was just straight up too powerful and used Power Swap and Guard Swap. While in most situations this would work, Mewtwo was not aware of Sans' weak stats being one attack and defense, which really screwed it over in the end. And while Pressure is a good move in most situations, it wouldn't work on Sans.

Cole: Why? Because Sans is too f**king lazy! He's not going to try his hardest at all, even during battles!

David: I guess being lazy really does pay off.

Cole: Mewtwo just didn't put enough backbone in this fight. 

David: The winner is Sans. 

Mewtwo: 

+Moves were very versatile.

+Recover and Barrier could keep it in the game long enough. 

+Swift and Aura Sphere proved difficult for Sans to dodge.

+Mega Mewtwo Y was very powerful.

+Could kill Sans in one hit....

-....if he could actually hit him.

-Flying was countered by Blue Attack.

-Didn't know to stay still to avoid the blue bone.

-Power Swap and Guard Swap were its down fall in this fight.

Sans:

+Way faster.

+Could avoid any attack, even Swift and Aura Sphere.

+Karmic Retribution dealt a great amount of damage.

+Gaster Blasters acted like Ghost Type moves.

+Attacks deal damage to the very soul. 

+So God damn lazy that not even Pressure would make him fight harder.

+Basically played Mewtwo in his hands.

Next Time on Death Battle.

In space, above a floating ring-like planet was a Covenant ship, moving into the ring's orbit. Though before it could make it, it exploded without any warning. Coming out of the explosion was a Pelican, trying to make its way back to its own ship. Piloting the ship was a lone, Spartan soldier. John 117, the Master Chief. 

A blue hologram girl came out of the console. "Perfect. I think that's the last of the Covenant in this sector. Let's get back to the frigate and-...." Cortana was cut off. "Cortana? Are you alright?" Asked Master Chief. "I'm fine...its just...I used the ship's scanners, it appears that there's an unknown ship entering the area." She said.

Meanwhile, a big ship came out of a gateway. It had five wings, two on each side and one on top with a red symbol on the wing. On the sides of the ship was words that read 'Star Fox'. It was the Great Fox. 

Suddenly, a smaller ship flew of the hanger of the Great Fox. An Arwing piloted by non other than Fox McCloud himself. "Fox, are you sure you want to do this alone? I know the rest of Andross' troops scattered to this sector, but you gotta let us help you." Said Peppy Hare. "If I get into trouble, I'll tell you. But I'm taking it from here." Fox said.
