Yosuke was sent down a rather linear path after his fight with Junpei. He knew the destination was the Yasogami High, like before. However, it seems he was kept on a path that prevented him from running and trying to find help. Even if he tried to, chances are, he’d be forced to fight them. Yosuke kept up his mindless walk until he stepped into a very large open space, strangely fit for another battle to occur. Yosuke was a bit tired. He already had to fight a Persona User without holding back, and it took a lot of effort to do so. He really didn’t want to fight anyone else.
Because no one was there, Yosuke’s first instinct was to run to the other side and get out of the arena. He made his dash, getting close to the opening. General Teddie didn’t appear on a screen, and no one else showed up. Yosuke’s worries started to fade as he made his way to the opening, only for him to hit an invisible wall. “OW! What the hell!?” He shouted. A TV monitor lowered behind Yosuke and turned on. “BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA! You’re so pathetic, Yosuke! Did you really think you could just run to the other side and avoid a fight!?”

General Teddie taunted. Yosuke turned around, clenching his, hopefully not broken, nose. “Yes! You weren’t there to stop me! And there was nobody around! And why didn’t you come in when I entered this place!?” Yosuke shouted at the TV. “So I could see you run into the wall! And I was busy leading your next opponent to you! And here he is!”
The houses and buildings started shifting around to make an opening. Yosuke was rather impressed, and a bit intimidated by this. On the other side, though, Jaune Arc made his way through. “What? What is this place? Why is it so wide open?” Jaune asked himself. Jaune spotted Yosuke, who looked rather displeased at his arrival. Jaune stepped into the arena, and the pathway closed behind him. The two walked towards each other until they were close enough to have a conversation.
“So, who’re you? Are you with the Kirijo Group or something?” Yosuke asked. “Kirijo Group? What’s that?” Jaune asked back. “Guess that answers that question. Well, I’m Yosuke Hanamura.” “The name’s Jaune Arc. Um, you haven’t happen to know where Ruby is, by any chance? Small girl, large scythe, red-black hair?” Yosuke shook his head. “I have no idea who you’re talking about. I don’t know anyone who owns a scythe.” Jaune sighed. “Well...I’ll find her eventually.” “Assuming you win, of course.” Said Yosuke. “What? What are you talking about?” Asked Jaune.
“That’s right! Looks like Yosuke’s not a complete idiot after all!” General Teddie said. “HEY!” “Well, now that you’re here, Mr. Arc! Bring on the ring!” Four red crystallized pillars pierced the ground, forming a large invisible barrier around Yosuke and Jaune. “Uh, what is happening?” Jaune asked. “We’re being forced to fight. I already had to fight someone on my way here.” “And you won, right?” Yosuke nodded to Jaune’s question. “And now I have to fight you. And we can’t afford to hold back, either. If we do, we’re gonna get punished by that bear.” “You mean the bear costume? What is he, like a cereal mascot or something?” Jaune asked. “Man, I don’t even know what he is...” Yosuke said.

The TV lifted back upwards. “Well...guess we’re going to have to fight, now. No hard feelings, ok?” Yosuke said. “Same here.” Jaune drew out his sword from his scabbard, then took the scabbard, making it fold into a shield.
Jaune ran towards Yosuke, swinging his sword at him, which Yosuke avoided. Jaune took a vertical swing, making Yosuke jump back from it. Jaune moved up more to strike again, but Yosuke managed to block the sword with his kunai. Jaune then bashed Yosuke with his shield, making the Junes employee stagger back. Yosuke figured he was going to need a bit more help with this fight. “Come, Jiraiya!” He shouted before proceeding to strike his Tarot Card.
Yosuke’s Persona, Jiraiya appeared behind him. “What in the world is that!?” Jaune shouted. “It’s a Persona. You mean, you don’t have one?” “I wish I did! Because that’s cool!” “Well, sorry to say, but I am going to have to use Jiraiya against you.” Yosuke warned. “Oh, yeah, no. That’s fine. I under-“ A large shuriken whizzed passed Jaune’s face, making him scream for a second. “ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME!?” Jaune yelled at Yosuke. The shuriken returned to Jiraiya. “I was just getting your attention. We can’t stand around for too long.” Yosuke said. Jaune groaned.
Jiraiya threw another shuriken at Jaune, who raised his shield up to block it, letting it scrape against his shield. Jaune started running as Jiraiya started to throw more Shuriken’s at him. Yosuke jumped up into the air, and Jiraiya appeared above to catch its User. “Let’s go!” Yosuke said, then proceeded to launch towards Jaune from the air. Yosuke collided with Jaune’s shield, knocking the both of them to the ground. Jaune threw Yosuke off his shield, making Yosuke land face-first on the ground.
The Hunter stood up, turning around to the Persona User. Jaune rose his sword into the air, just as Yosuke started to stand up. “Persona!” Yosuke was about to summon Jiraiya once more, but Jaune pierced his sword into the ground, creating a shockwave. The attack interrupted Yosuke’s summoning process, letting Jaune charge forward with his shield out front, slamming it into Yosuke. Jaune then slasher Yosuke multiple times with his sword. On the last strike, however, Yosuke blocked Jaune’s sword with his kunai, then summoned Jiraiya to kick Jaune.
After Jaune staggered back, he was struck by a powerful wind attack from Jiraiya. Seeing Jaune still standing after the attack, however, Yosuke commanded Jiraiya to throws its shurikens. However, Jaune deflected one with his sword, and blocked the other with his shield. Jaune made a dash towards Yosuke, jumping over another shuriken that was thrown at him. On his way down, Jaune pierces the ground again, creating another shockwave that pushed Yosuke back. Right afterwards, Jaune charged into Yosuke once more, carrying the Persona User on his shield until he rammed him into an invisible wall on the other side.
Yosuke jumped back to his feet, then used another wind attack on Jaune. Yosuke proceeded to jump into the air, then was launched towards Jaune, slashing the Hunter with his kunai. Yosuke then back flipped into the air, somehow summoning a barrage of kunais along with Jiraiya. Yosuke’s Persona launched Yosuke at Jaune once again, followed with the kunais. Despite Jaune’s best attempt to block, Yosuke’s weight brought Jaune’s guard down forcibly, letting the kunais strike.
Soon after, though, a red shockwave blasted out around the arena, surprising Yosuke. Jaune now had a red aura around him. “Jir-“ Jaune interrupted Yosuke by ramming into him with his shield. This was then followed by a series of powerful sword slashes. Yosuke staggered back, wiping blood from his mouth. “Time to end this!” Jaune shouted charging at Yosuke. “Couldn’t agree more!” Responded Yosuke. As soon as Jaune got in close, Jiraiya appeared, then blasted Jaune up into the air with a strong wind attack. “Let’s go!” Said Yosuke, jumping into the air.

The Hunter fell to the ground, his Aura completely depleted. Yosuke soon landed in front of him, striking a pose.

Jaune started to get up on his own. Yosuke stretched his arm out to Jaune, offering him help. Jaune took Yosuke’s hand and was helped up. “Sorry man. I wish I could’ve held back on you.” Yosuke apologized. “It’s not your fault. You had no choice.” Jaune said. The TV from before lowered down. “Nice work, Yosuke! Another win for you! Now you can proceed to move forward! I wonder what for awaits you next!” General Teddie announced. The TV rose back up, leaving Yosuke to groan. “Man...I really don’t want to have to fight more people. The heck is that crazy bear planning this time?” “I wish I could go with you. But something tells me that because I lost, I can’t continue forward.” Yosuke nodded his head. “Yeah. That’s the rule. You’re going to have to wait here for a while. But don’t worry, I’m sure my partner will solve things. He always does.” Jaune smiled, giving Yosuke a nod. “If your partner finds Ruby, they can probably set things right.” Jaune said. “Maybe. Assuming he’s not forced to fight her.” Yosuke said. “Well, I better get going and see who that crazy bear makes me fight next.” “Well, good luck to you.” Jaune said. Yosuke smirked and gave Jaune a thumbs up, then proceeded to jog forward out of the arena.
