Peter: Being a good fighter means you're precise, talented, skilled, and willing to risk your life for the cause you're fighting for.

John: These two got that last one down, but the others...not so much.

Peter: Jaune Arc, leader of Team JNPR.

John: And Papyrus, the wannabe Royal Guardsmen. He's Peter and I'm John.

Peter: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to see who'd win a Death Battle.

Peter: When you think of RWBY's Hunters and Huntresses, what do you picture?

John: Hm...badasses with guns, gauntlet guns, sword guns, scythe guns, nunchuck guns, and more! Or glow sticks with Dust components.

Peter: Well, there is one boy out there that sticks out in his universe like a sore thumb. His name is-

John: Dan Hibiki.

Peter: No...it's Jaune Arc.

Jaune: "Well, the name's Jaune Arc. Short, sweet, rolls off the tongue. Ladies love it."

Ruby: "Do they?"

Jaune: "T-they will! Well, I hope they will."

Background:

-Name: Jaune Arc.
-Nickname: Vomit Boy.
-Age: 17.
-Leader of Team JNPR.
-An excellent dancer.
-Has seven sisters.
-Is a fan of X-Ray and Vav Comics.

John: Oh...geez. Why do I get the nagging feeling he's gonna suck at just about everything?

Peter: Jaune Arc got into Beacon Academy in a very questionable way.

John: Yeah. He did. I mean, Jaune's not very good at a lot of things, the most being fighting. When starting out, he was pretty average with his weapon, Crocea Mors.

<da:embed id="RQXe22auYOw" profile="youtube" width="560" height="315">

Crocea Mors:
-A hand-me-down from his grandfather.
-Sword can effortlessly slice through an Ursa Major's head.
-Shield can block attacks from Ursas and a Death Stalker.
-Shield can also fold into a scabbard.
--Still weighs the same.
-Despite their age, they haven't suffered a noticeable scratch.
-Weapon isn't also a gun.

John: Wait....he didn't forge it like all the other Hunters and Huntresses?

Peter: Nope. And it's not only that, but Jaune never had any real training with these weapons. He's never been to combat school or any of that.

John: Wait, are you telling me that Beacon Academy, the SAME academy that let badasses like Qrow graduate let this scrawny, worthless kid like Jaune in!?

Peter: They technically didn't. Jaune forged the transcripts so he can sneak his way into Beacon. And he was never really caught for it.

John: These guys are just terrible at their jobs.

Peter: Even though Jaune was terrible at fighting, his...uh...charming personality caught the attention of possibly the best student in Beacon, Pyrrha Nikos...I guess.

John: And luckily, Pyrrha was kind enough to help Jaune get better. And she did great.

Peter: With by training with Pyrrha, Jaune was getting better and better with swordplay. Suddenly, he was able to take on Grimm all on his own.

John: And also thanks to Pyrrha, she was able to unlock Jaune's most valuable asset in battle, his Aura.

Aura:
-Unlocked by Pyrrha.
-Can protect Jaune from many attacks.
-Can heal wounds.
-According to Pyrrha, he has a lot of it.
-Not to be mistaken with Lucario's Aura.

Peter: Jaune is able to keep watch of his Aura level via his Scroll which can be attached to his shield during battles.

John: But of course, Jaune's Semblance is......unknown....

Peter: We've only see his Semblacne in action once, and even then, it was very vague on what it does.

John: All that's happened with it so far is that something happens, a bright light shines, and makes Jaune invincible as it seems.

Peter: Though Jaune does not know how to use his Semblance, and it could be argued that that wasn't his Semblance.

John: Darn...well, seeing as Jaune hasn't  showed much promise, he has no feats to his name whatsoever.

Peter: That is the most untrue statement I've ever heard.

Feats:
-Killed an Ursa Major (with help from Pyrrha)
--But after training a lot, has been able to kill many Grimm on his own.
-Strong enough to block attacks from a Deathstalker.
--Also strong enough to struggle against the strength of an Ursa Major via shield.
-Used fake transcripts to get into Beacon.
-Took a hit to a wall full force by Pyrrha (Was an accident)
-Excellent with strategizing (Commanded Pyrrha, Nora, and Ren before any knowledge on what they can do)
-Can hold his own against more skilled fighters.
-Wore a dress to a dance because of a dumb promise he made.

John: Oh...those are actually pretty good. But...there's gotta be weaknesses, right?

Peter: Yes. There are.

Weaknesses:
-Can't realize the obvious sometimes.
-Can get airsick.
-Pretty damn clumsy.
-Has 'right' and 'left' on the bottom of both shoes so he knows which shoe he should put on which feet.
-Aura is finite.
-Semblance is unknown.

John: Well...too bad for Jaune.

Peter: Be honest, Jaune's not a complete push over.

John: Ok, he's...decent. I guess...

Peter: That's...certainly better.

Jaune: *Sighs* "Do you like her?"

Neptune: "Yeah, I mean. I don't know her too well yet, but, she seems pretty cool."

Jaune: "Then just go talk to her. No pick up lines, no suave moves. Just be yourself. I've heard that's the way to go."

Neptune: "Yeah, but that isn't-"

Jaune: "Hey. You don't have to look cool all the time. In all honesty, if you could be a little less cool, I'd really appreciate it."

Neptune: "Yeah. Ok."

Jaune: "Go talk to her. I guarantee it'll make her night."

Neptune: "Thanks. You're a really cool guy, Jaune."

Jaune: "Alright, don't lie to my face."

*Jaune and Neptune fist bump. Neptune walks off to go talk to Weiss*

Jaune: *sighs* "Alright. Only one thing left to do."

John: The underground is filled with a variety of monsters. Tall, short, or just plain up strange looking.

John: These monsters all wanted the same thing, though. To escape the Underground and to the surface.

Peter: But in order to do so, they would need Human souls. So, ASGORE tasked his assistants, Undyne and Alphys, to capture and kill any human that fell into the Underground and steal their souls.

John: And what do you know? Humans did fall down into the mountains! Man, we're such a clumsy race, aren't we?

Peter: Depends who you ask. However, unknown to ASGORE, he had some secret help from two skeletons. Sans and Papyrus.

Background:

-Name: Papyrus.
-Age: Unknown. Is claimed to be younger than Sans.
-Royal Guard Wannabe.
-Likes making spaghetti.
-Maker of traps.
-Might be Sans' brother.
-Has a house in Snowdin.

John: Nobody really knows where these two came from. According to the residents of Snowdin, they just showed up with the intention of capturing humans.

Peter: And by 'they' we really mean Papyrus. Sans could honestly care less. Papyrus, however, tries his absolute best to capture humans.

John: Papyrus' main reason for capturing humans is very clear, unlike his 'backstory'. Papyrus wants to be a Royal Guardsmen, and he went to Undyne, the head of the Royal Guard, to become one.

Peter: But in order to do join the Royal Guard, he needed to prove his worth by capturing a human.

John: Fortunately, Papyrus is pretty good in terms of fighting.

<da:embed id="oDdR4c9vcEw" profile="youtube" width="560" height="315">

Powers and Abilities:
-Extremely fast.
-SOUL Manipulation.
--Can turn one's SOUL blue, forcing it down to the ground.

Bones:
-Comes in different sizes and shapes.
-Can summon multiple at once.
-Bones harm the soul directly.
-Can wield a bone himself for hand-to-hand combat.
--Prefers long ranged combat.
-Can be blocked by physical objects.

Blue Bones:
-Faster and bigger than normal bones.
-Opponents can avoid them by standing still.

John: Ok. That's cool.

Peter: 'Tis indeed. Despite his almost childlike nature, Papyrus is no push over.

John: But, Papyrus has a very powerful move his Special Attack.

Peter: Using the Special Attack Papyrus can!........have it be taken away from a dog.

John: That's...really dumb.

Peter: After Papyrus fails to use his Special Attack, which has never actually been shown what it is, he'll do what he calls and 'Absolutely Normal Attack'.

John: That's just to throw you off. There's nothing 'absolutely normal' about this attack.

Peter: He'll send multiple hard-to-dodge bones at you, along with the same big from earlier on a skateboard.

John: He'll even arrange his bones to spell the words 'cool dude' at his opponents. Papyrus must be full of himself.

Peter: Not exactly. Papyrus does want lots of friends, but he doesn't think himself to be higher than others.

John: With all of this, Papyrus must have a lot of feats.

Peter: He does.

Feats:
-Effortless smashed through a window with his body and showed no real signs of damage afterwards.
-Made dozens of traps.
-Can run 100 laps in 5 minutes.
-Can carry Frisk while running.
-Tricked Undyne into befriending Frisk.

Peter: Undyne claims that Papyrus is a very powerful fighter. It's theorized that Papyrus can be more powerful than Sans.

John: Well damn. Then...why isn't he like the final boss or something?

Peter: Because..well...he's too kind.

Weaknesses:
-Too kind.
-Lack of taste buds=terrible cook.
-Only has one smart moment in the game.
-Traps either back fire, don't work, or he doesn't remember how to use them.
-Has barely any combat experience.
-Tires out after a too long of a battle.
-Failed to capture Frisk.
-Durability isn't the best.

John: That sucks.

Peter: Despite his faults, Papyrus is very powerful....though his kindness gets in his way.

John: If only he doesn't hold back all the time, he'd be one of the most powerful fighters in Undertale.

Papyrus: "I will be the one! I will capture a human!"
