David: The ship is a very old vehicle of transportation or battle. Or sometimes both.

Cole: But there's always someone giving the orders. Like Han Solo, Captain of the Millennium Falcon.

David: And James T. Kirk, Captain of the USS Enterprise.

Cole: While both captain their own ships, we're only focusing on a one-on-one gun fight between Han and James.

David: Besides, the Enterprise outclasses the Millennium Falcon in numerous ways.

Cole: I'm Cole and he's David.

David: And it's our job to analyze they're armor, weapons, and skills to see who'd win, a Death Battle

Han Solo:

David: A long time ago in a galaxy far far away during the years of the Galactic Republic, a young child was born on the planet Corellia. His name was Han Solo.

Cole: Han was orphaned at a young age and turned to a life of crime to survive the perils of the Galaxy. He then got a starship and became an excellent pilot.

David: Solo began to work outside the Galactic Empire's law and began a career in smuggling. He eventually met with a Wookiee known as Chewbacca, who Han saved from imprisonment.

Cole: Grateful for Han's intervention, Chewbacca proclaimed a life debt to the smuggler. So then Chewy became first mate on Han's ship, becoming one of the greatest duos in the galaxy.

David: At some point, Han and Chewy met the self-proclaimed galactic entrepreneur and gambler, Lando Calrissian.

Cole: Then Solo was like, 'I like your ship. Let's gamble for it'.

David: To win this ship, Han and Lando played a game of "Corellian Spike" Sabacc using a pair of gold dice.

Cole: Unfortunately for Lando, Han won the bet and got Lando's ship: The YT-1300 light freighter, otherwise known as the Millennium Falcon.

David: The Falcon instantly became Han's most prized possession. Thus, Han's story sort of begins.

Cole: Han is a great pilot. He's been able to carry out smuggler missions that were too dangerous and risky for normal smugglers, one of which includes getting revenge on a crime lord.

David: Then, he and some fellow smugglers went to a planet, and then Han married a woman known as Sana Starros illegitimately.

Cole: Then a robbery occurred and Han took Sana's share and left the planet. Then, he and Chewbacca crashed on a unnamed planet and the two stayed inside a cave for several years due to storms and cyclones.

David: Eventually, the two came into employment for the Outer Rim crime lord, Jabba the Hutt.

Cole: Yup. That's the origin of Han Solo.

David: Anyway, when it comes to combat with Han, there's a lot but also not a lot to talk about.

Cole: I'm saying this now, Han shot first. But the gun he shot first with was DL-44 Heavy Blaster Pistol. This gun was used during the early years of the Galactic Republic and the Age of the Empire. Being more devastating at close range, the DL-44 is one of the most powerful blasters in the galaxy. Only problem is that it can overheat rather quickly if fired too much.

David: While Han doesn't wear any armor, he can take blasts in certain areas. Though these areas are not any place that would normally prove fatal. At least, not for him.

Cole: But having no armor means he can move fast. Like really fast. He can avoid laser fire like nothing.

David: Though a good placed hit with a blaster would surely put him down. If you can hit him before he kills you.

Cole: Han has achieved some impressive feats over the years. Like the time he broke the record for the Kessel Run is less than twelves parsecs. Or the time he dodged close range laser fire just by titling his head. Or when he chased a couple of Storm Troopers away...but then was lead into an entire room full of them.

David: He knocked Darth Vader off course in the trench run of the Death Star so Luke can fire the Proton Torpedoes. He built a snow house thing so he and Luke could survive the harsh weather of Hoth while in a snow storm. He expertly piloted the Millennium Falcon in an asteroid field, hid in the back of a Star Destroyer, survived being frozen in carbonite, knocked Boba Fett into the Sarlaac Pit while being blind and physically drained, and led a large group of Rebels in the fight of Endor so they could shut off the force field surrounding the new Death Star.

Cole: Damn. That's a lot.

David: As impressive as these are, it's not enough to let him win all the time. He does tend to shot first and ask questions later. He's also not the best in hand-to-hand combat. Most of the time, he's usually stays in the Falcon instead of fighting people one-on-one and usually has Chewbacca by his side. And spoilers, he was killed by Kylo Ren, his own son, by being stabbed with a Lightsaber.

Cole: Don't know why he didn't shoot first on that one.

David: Even so, there aren't many who can beat, let alone catch the smuggler, Han Solo.

Han: "Never tell me the odds!"

James T. Kirk:

David: Space, the final frontier. These were the voyages of the star ship, Enterprise. It's five year mission: To explore strange, new worlds. To seek out new life, and new civilizations. To boldly go where no man has gone before.

Cole: The Enterprise being the big ship that it is was going to need a captain. This captain in particular was James Tiberius Kirk.

David: Kirk was born in Riverside, Iowa. He was raised by his parents, Geroge and Winona Kirk. Although he was born on Earth, Kirk lived for a time Tarsus IV. Here, he was one of nine surviving witnesses to the massacre of 4,000 colonists by Kodos the Executioner.

Cole: Poor kid. Well, after that, Kirk attended the Starfleet Academy. And he was the only one to defeat the Kobayashi Maru test. Garnering a commendation for original thinking for reprogramming the computer to make the "no-win scenario" winnable.

David: Kirk was granted a field commission as an ensign and posted to advanced training abroad the USS Republic. He was then promoted to lieutenant junior grade and returned to Starfleet Academy as a student instructor.

Cole: Because of Kirk's amazing teaching skills and being called a stack of books with legs, Kirk was promoted lieutenant and served aboard the USS Farragut. While assigned to Farragut, Kirk commanded his first planet survey and survived a deadly attack that killed a large portion of the Farragut's crew, including his commanding officer, Captain Garrovick.

Cole: He received his first command, a star ship roughly equivalent to a destroyer, while still pretty young.

David: Kirk became Starfleet's youngest captain when he received command of the the USS Enterprise for a five year mission.

Cole: That's a pretty long backstory.

David: Anyway, while Captain, Kirk had developed some relationships with his crew members. This included  the first officer, Spock, and the chief medical officer Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy.

Cole: Anyway, again. Because Kirk captains the famed Enterprise, his quick thinking and strategy can more often than not saves his ship and crew.

David: But when it comes to away missions, Kirk is usually prepared. He carries the Type-1 Phaser, the smallest and most basic weapon carried by Starfleet.Image by Mastersword3710

Cole: The Type-1 has 8 different settings. Ranging from stun, heat, and to kill. But when Kirk gets serious, he can set it to disruption and disintegration.

David: Though Kirk doesn't rely solely on his Phaser. He made up his own martial art known as 'Kirk Fu'.

Cole: So, what's more popular than the 'Falcon Kick'? KIRK KICK!

David: Saying it's more popular is a bit of a stretch, but the Kirk Kick is still a useful move that Kirk uses to gain an upper hand on his foes.

Cole: And because he wears a Starfleet uniform means he can move pretty quickly. He's able to dodge phaser beams pretty easily. Though obviously, a good placed phaser beam could easily kill him depending what setting it's on.

David: Kirk has achieved many feats through the years as well. He's beaten Khan in a fight by using part of the warp-engineering as a monkey wrench and just whacking Khan with it. He's tricked his gang captor by playing a game of "Fizzbin". He's tricked machines into blowing themselves up multiple times, including one that had full control of the Enterprise.

Cole: Kirk almost blew up his own ship so it would no longer be in the control of Commissioner Bele. He built a cannon out of nothing but bamboo sticks and some gun powder he made himself while fighting a Gorn commander. He's even fought alongside Abraham Lincoln!Image by Mastersword3710

David: He's fought toe-to-toe with Spock before and Kirk is courageous, cunning, and confident. Although not unbeatable. He has ignored Starfleet regulations over a gut feeling or when he feels the end justifies the means.

Cole: And when he fought alongside Captain Jean-Luc Picard, he died at the hands of Dr. Soran.

David: Regardless, it takes a lot to take down Captain James T. Kirk.

Kirk: "Don't let them promote you. Don't let them transfer you. Don't let them do anything that takes you off the bridge of that ship because while you're there, you can make a difference."

Would it be okay if I used the Captain Kirk part of this prelude for a battle I am doing for my youtube series? I will give full credit.
