Crunch VS Knuckles DEATH BATTLE The Fight.

Axel: Alright. The combatants are set. Let's end this debate once and for all.

Felix: It's time, for a DeathBattle!!!

Crunch walked through the forest, not seeing any living creature when arriving at this place. Whatever 'this place' was, it was a complete mystery to Crunch. All he was told was that there would be something here that'll them Crash fight Dr. Cortex. He looked at the radar he was given, and his destination was just up ahead. Crunch started to walk again, and he found himself coming out of the forest, and before him laid ruins.

In the center of the rooms seemed to be an alter, seven pillars stood around it, a few broken dew to age, Crunch assumed. What definitely caught his attention was the enormous green emerald sitting at the top of the alter. Crunch checked his radar again, and it read that the emerald was indeed what he needed. 

Crunch broke the radar and threw it behind him. He made his way towards the emerald, but he didn't expect someone else to be there either. A red echidna stood at the top of the alter, woken up by Crunch carelessly breaking the radar. "Oh, and now someone else is trying to take the Master Emerald? I won't let you take it!" Knuckles said, jumping down from the alter and landing in front of Crunch. 

"Listen man, we need this gem to defeat Dr. Neo Cortex. You better back off and hand it over." "I don't care what you need it for! The Master Emerald is staying here, and that's final!" Knuckles said. "Alright. Looks like we're doing this the hard way..." Crunch cracked his knuckle.

Knuckles came rushing in, swiftly dodging a punch from Crunch and delivering his own. Knuckles punched Crunch in the stomach, making the Bandicoot grasp it while also trying to hold him his lunch. 

Knuckles was about to land another hit, but Crunch stopped Knux's fist with his robot arm. Crunch grabbed Knuckles and began slamming him into the ground multiple times. Crunch grabbed Knuckles' leg and spun around before throwing the Echidna away. Knuckles was sent into the air, however, he managed to control himself. He used the air as his ally, letting it support him as he glided around.

Crunch was pretty amazed by the Echidna's capabilities of such a thing, but shook it off quickly. Crunch stretched out his robotic arm and fired multiple missiles at Knuckles. The Guardian of the Master Emerald served around the missiles, but didn't do the same for the last. Instead, Knuckles grabbed the missile and flipped it around. He steadied himself onto the missile and directed it towards Crunch whilst surfing on it. 

Crunch saw this coming, as he had plenty of time to react, and jumped out of the way. Knuckles leaped off the missile, letting it crash into the ground. Knuckles looked around as his foe seemed to have ran. Knuckles checked the alter, and saw Crunch making a run towards it. "You stay away from the Master Emerald!" He shouted. 

Knuckles dug his hands through the ground and pulled out an enormous rock and threw it. Crunch turned around, just in time, too. He waited for the incoming rock and smashed right through it. Knuckles threw more rocks at Crunch, albeit, smaller ones. Crunch broke through two before destroying the rest with a laser from his robot arm. 

Knuckles started running towards Crunch, avoiding any laser blast that came his way. Crunch jumped down from the steps of the alter, slamming his fists down onto the ground. Knuckles jumped up and towards Crunch, fist raised to punch him across the face. Crunch collided fists with Knuckles, creating a shock wave. 

Both were pushed back, but Crunch took a different approach to his next attack. Using the elements, Crunch encased himself into a stone sphere. Crunch rolled his way towards Knuckles, whom stretched out both hands to stop the Bandicoot in his tracks. 

Knuckles pushed Crunch back, but he only turned and continued to roll towards Knux. Knuckles jumped in the air and back down, this time, however, digging through the ground. Despite being encased by stone, Crunch managed to look around, but he could see no trace of his foe. Perhaps he retreated underground? Whatever it was, Crunch now had a chance to take the gem and get it back to Crash and the others. 

Crunch felt rumbling beneath him just as he was about to roll over to the alter. He looked down and saw the red Echidna coming out of the ground, carrying the stone above his head. "Get......off........" Knuckles lifted the encased Crunch above him. "MY ISLAND!!" Knuckles threw the stone sphere at a tree. However the tree, being a palm tree, bent back and flung the stone sphere back at Knuckles. Despite the plan almost back firing, Knuckles leaped forward, fist held back, and the red Echidna punched through the stone. His fist created a large explosion, breaking through the rock easily.

Crunch landed on the grass face first, unintentionally burying his face into the ground. The Bandicoot pulled his head out of the ground then shook his head, getting any dirt out of his ears while also letting his thoughts collect. Crunch turned and stared at an angry Knuckles. "I'm getting that gen weather you like it or not!" Crunch said, slamming both his fists together. He used another elemental ability. His entire body became transparent and water like. He also grew in size. Crunch already towered over Knuckles, but now, Knuckles was like an ant.

Crunch slammed his hands together, creating an energy wave. Knuckles started running towards the water Crunch, unintentionally getting reminded of another water foe he fought long ago. The Guardian of the Master Emerald jumped over the energy wave and started to glide. Crunch fired another energy wave, but Knuckles served around it. Knuckles eventually landed, giving Crunch the opportunity to use his next attack. 

The water Bandicoot slammed both fists onto the ground, making it shake. Knuckles started to lose balance, but he retreated underground. "Not this time!" Crunch said. He moved over to the hole Knuckles made and slammed his fist down in it. Crunch rose his fist, expecting either a bloody mess, or Knuckles to be trapped in it. All there was was nothing but dirt that eventually dissolved. 

Meanwhile, underground, Knuckles was digging a circle around his foe. He had the Shovel Claws on to speed up his processes. Knuckles finished his circle and popped up above ground once more. He started running around Crunch, leaving the Bandicoot confused as to Knuckles' course of action. 

After running fast enough, Knuckles created a large hole beneath Crunch, making him fall in. Crunch hit the ground, but soon stood up. Knuckles leaped down and landed a punch on Crunch, forcing him out of the water form. Crunch hit the ground, a bit dizzy after the punch to the face. 

Knuckles didn't give Crunch any time to recover, however, as he uppercutted him out of the 'crater'. Crunch got himself together, and he was really pissed with Knux. Crunch used another elemental ability, and his body began to grow again. However, instead of taking the form of water, he looked like living molten lava. Knuckles jumped out of the large hole he created, and he could already feel the heat given off by Crunch. 

Crunch summoned a wave of fire without doing anything in particular. Crunch started running towards Knuckles, and as he moved, so did the wave of fire in front of him. "Oh no!" Knuckles said, turning and running. The fire was too big to run around. Knuckles figured he wouldn't have to go around, but under. 

The Echidna started to dig another hole...only for a large rock of fire hit the ground in front of him. Knuckles turned and saw that Crunch was carrying a flaming rock, or meteor, whatever it was to Knux. Crunch began tossing the fire rocks at Knuckles, who could only continue running. 

Every time Crunch through a fire rock at Knuckles, he'd avoid it with ease. As Knuckles avoided the 'meteors', he was constantly saying "Don't let it hit you, move. Don't let it hit you, move. Don't. Let it hit you, move move. Don't let it hit you, move." Knuckles jumped upwards onto a tree and off. He glided towards Crunch, slamming both fists into Crunch's face. Knuckles landed on the ground, ready for his next attack. "Take-" Crunch wasn't letting Knuckles preform whatever attack it was, and threw another ball of fire at him, hitting Knuckles in the face and sending him flying into a tree. 

Knuckles broke through the tree and slummed down. The Bandicoot walked towards the Echidna in a victorious fashion. Knuckles, however, allowed Crunch to get closer to him. Crunch lifted Knuckles up by his...'neck', or lack there of. "You had a good fight, but you can't beat me now! I'm taking that gem now!" Crunch shouted. Knuckles smirked, and weakly said "Take this." Crunch was confused, but suddenly lighting struck him from above.

Crunch could no longer maintain his elemental form. Unfortunately for him, Knuckles wasn't really beat up at all. Knuckles grabbed Crunch by the legs and spun around, flinging him away. "Hypocriticism's a bi-wait, was it hypocriticism or karma? Oh well." Knuckles started to take his leave, back to the shrine. 

*stop music*

As he made his way to the Master Emerald, the sun was covered by peculiar storm clouds. Knuckles turned around, a drop of water touched him, followed by three more. More and more water started falling on Knuckles as the storm rolled in. "Just my luck. Another storm." He said. However, to Knuckles' surprise, the storm was, more or less, unnatural. But it wasn't the storm that caught his attention, it was what was coming from it. A enormous figure appeared from the storm. Obviously, it was Crunch, but his form was different from the others. Not only was he flying, but he was covered head to toe with electricity. Knuckles collided his fists, as he knew that this had to be Crunch's final form. 

The Echidna turned towards the Master Emerald, knowing he'd probably need its power for this. Knuckles hooped onto the green gem and started to gain power from it. Slowly but surely, Crunch started to make his way towards the shrine. Knuckles's appearance changed, though all that happened was that he got a gold shield all around him. However, despite him being the powerful Super Knuckles, he felt he'd skip this transformation.

Crunch was surprised that Knuckles was still powering up through the Master Emerald. He knew he'd have to stop Knuckles from turning into something even more powerful. He summoned a lighting bolt, letting it crash onto Knuckles.

The crackle of thunder sounded and the lighting hit, but not in the way Crunch had expected it to. A new form of Knuckles had blocked the lighting. To Crunch's amusement, Knuckles was now pink, and his serious expression made Crunch burst out laughing. "What is that!? You turned pink, bro!" He laughed. Hyper Knuckles lifted off into the air, arms crossed, and a face that looked like he'd beat the hell out of anything and anyone in his way.

Crunch stopped laughing and got himself together. He crossed his arms, getting serious as well. "I see now why that gem's important to you. If it can turn you into this, then we'll definitely take it off your hands. "Not while I'm like this, you won't." Hyper Knuckles said.

The two flew towards each other, colliding fists, creating a shockwave. Crunch was easily pushed back as Hyper Knuckles flew in for another punch. However, Crunch stretched out his hand and fired waves of electricity out of it. Hyper Knuckles flew through it without any effort, trying to punch him in the face still. Crunch backhanded Knuckles, and although it didn't go shit, he was still able to push Hyper Knuckles back. The lighting Bandicoot stretched both hands out and fired multiple lighting bolts at the pink Echidna. 

Hyper Knuckles flew down, up, right, left, to avoid them, even though he knew he could easily tank them. Crunch didn't let up his attack, and he fired more and more at Knux, whom flew straight at them, letting them hit. Fortunately for Knuckles, there weren't any consequences for doing this. Knuckles got close enough to Crunch, ready to punch. Crunch wasn't letting this happen, though, and he grabbed Knuckles with his hand, which then he tried crushing the Hyper Echidna. 

Hyper Knuckles wasn't feeling any pain and started to push open the hand. Crunch, realizing his grip on his foe was starting to loosen, threw Knuckles away. Knuckles stopped himself in midair and turned around, super pissed with Crunch. "Argh! I've had enough of this! You're going down!" Crunch shouted. This electric giant started to charge up electricity in both hands. "You're pissing me off, too buddy. I told you to get off my island, but now I'll show you the way off!" Hyper Knuckles shouted back. Crunch finished charging his attack and fired a enormous bolt of lighting at Knuckles. 

Hyper Knuckles flew towards it and, oddly enough, was going to punch it. Crunch looked dumbfounded when Knuckles punched his lighting bolt, and then again, and again, and again. It was at a point where Hyper Knuckles began rapidly punching the lighting, getting through it with utter ease. Crunch needed to push Knuckles farther, he needed him gone...now! 

Crunch summoned more storm clouds over him, making lighting strike himself to give him more power. He added each power he got into the lighting bolt which Hyper Knuckles was easily punching through. The lighting bolt became more and more difficult to break through, but not by much. However, Knuckles knew at this rate, he'd be here all day. And that time would only extend the longer Crunch gained more power for his lighting bolt. 

Hyper Knuckles had enough and stopped punching the dang bolt. Instead, in a swift motion, Knuckles turned and dived head first into the bolt, soon holding both his fists above his head, and then spinning around. Knuckles became a living, Chaos powered, drill, effortlessly piercing through the lighting bolt, closing in on Crunch. Crunch kept up the pace, getting more and more power from the storm clouds, but it was pointless. Knuckles was already close enough. 

The Hyper Echidna broke through the lighting Bandicoot's hands, spinning up to his chest. Hyper Knuckles drilled a large hole in Crunch's chest and came out the other side in a matter of seconds. Crunch shouted out in pain, and he exploded, electricity flowing everywhere, and his own bones falling to the ground. 

The storm started to go away, letting the sun shine on Angel Island once again. Hyper Knuckles crossed his arms and turned around, knowing he wouldn't see his opponent any longer. 

Felix: Welp. That's one less Bandicoot for Dr. Cortex to worry about.

Axel: At first glance, this might seem like Knuckles has this in the bag without any effort....and you're kinda right. 

Felix: Knuckles was easily faster than Crunch as he has much better feats of speed. I mean, this guy can keep up with Sonic for crying out loud!

Axel: When it came to durability, Knuckles easily took it. Crunch's best durability feat was tanking a bunch of TNT. While that's impressive and all, Knuckles' feats were just much better. 

Felix: Knuckles survived tanking hits from Super Mecha Sonic, that pretty much trumps any durability feat Crunch had to offer.

Axel: And when it came to strength, Knuckles also easily took it. Crunch is really powerful and strong, don't get us wrong. However, he has yet to do anything crazy like smashing an asteroid into bits or knocking someone like Sonic out of their super form. 

Felix: Crunch gained a slight advantage when he used the Elementals' abilities. However, all of them were taken out rather easily. Considering Knuckles is physically superior by a lot, there was nothing Crunch to really do. 

Axel: The lighting Form from Lo-Lo was Crunch's last resort in hopes of victory...but it, like the others, wouldn't last long against Knuckles. In this fight, Knuckles wouldn't even need Super or Hyper Knuckles.

Felix: Then why was Hyper Knuckles used anyway? 

Axel: For a more intense battle. It would be a waste to not use him. At least we didn't go overkill with Chaos Knuckles.

Felix: Unfortunately for Crunch, he just didn't know the drill. This wasn't that shocking to see coming.

Axel: *sighs* You...really need to work on those.

Felix: Shut up.

Axel: The winner is Knuckles the Echidna.

Crunch Bandicoot:

+Smarter.

+More calm in certain situations.

+Elemental abilities kept Knuckles on his toes.

-Physically inferior.

-Hyper Knuckles was just too powerful.

-Elemental abilities couldn't really give him a win.

Knuckles the Echidna:

+Stronger.

+Faster.

+More durable.

+Super/Hyper Knuckles would no doubt win easily.

+Can dig underground to gain an edge.

-Not as smart.

-Not as cool headed.

Because the next fight may not catch as many people's interest, I'm gonna do two fights. One an actual part of Season 3, and another a Remastered version of one of my previous fights. I'll reveal both combatants for the fight for this season, so there won't be a reveal post.
