Like Metatron, Magatsu-Izanagi cracked, and both Personas shattered, their pieces dissipating before they reached the ground. With that, Akira collapsed on the ground, unable to go on any further. And, not long after, Yu collapsed as well, falling down next to Akira. Both were defeated by one other. The battle of Wild Cards had ended.

“Well, what an interesting turn of events.”

Akira opened his eyes, and found himself standing in a familiar room. He was in his normal clothes, and the door that usually locked him behind a small space was open, like it was before he left. In the center of the room was a table, and sitting down at it was an old man with a long nose. Standing aside that man was a young looking girl with yellow eyes, long white hair, and a blue dress. The long-nosed man spoke to Akira. “Welcome back to the Velvet Room. Though your rehabilitation has been completed a while ago, you find yourself in another strange situation. And now, you’ve fallen against a foe with similar abilities as you.”

“This foe, like you, is a Wild Card. He has walked a similar path as you, and he is just as determined to protect his loved ones.” Lavenza said. “If this is case...is he your real enemy?” Igor asked.

“What do you mean?” Asked Yu. Like Akira, Yu found himself in the Velvet Room. A sight he hadn’t seen in a good while. In front of him was Igor sitting at his round table, with Margret sitting next to him. And, of course, Marie sat in the room as well. Igor laughed lightly to Yu’s question. “A gathering of Persona Users, as well as others with unique abilities, is no coincidence. And you meeting another Guest of ours isn’t either.” He said.

“The question is; can you overcome this other Guest?” Margret asked.

Yu didn’t give an answer straight away, and instead took a moment to think. “I...”

***

“I can’t.” Akira answered.

“And why is that?” Lavenza asked. Akira looked back at his battle with Narukami, and why exactly he believed he couldn’t win. Specifically, the very beginning of the battle and just how in-sync Yu was with his Persona. “He’s had more time with his Persona. He’s willing to fight along side it, instead of letting it do the fighting for him. He pulls off attacks in unison with it. Things I haven’t done with my own.”

“And this means you can’t beat him?” Igor asked. Akira wanted to say more, but couldn’t think of anything more to say.

***

“His Personas...they have attack’s I’ve never seen before. I’m unprepared to fight them.” Yu said.

“And this means you can’t beat him?” Igor asked. Yu wanted to say more, but couldn’t think of anything else to say.

“Remember, your power doesn’t just come from yourself.” Margret said. Suddenly, multiple Tarot Cards appeared, circling around Yu. They didn’t have the normal images on them. Instead, they were images of Yu’s friends and family. “Remember where your true strength lays.”

***

Akira looked around himself, as the masks of his fellow Phantom Thieves, and the masks of his Confidants, swirled around him. “Remember where your true strength lays.”

All the masks started to spin around faster, until they eventually combined and formed one mask; the mask of Joker. Akira reached out towards it and took hold of it, then proceeded to place it over his face. Suddenly, his Phantom Thief clothes appeared, and sudden rush of power overcame him.

***

All the cards that circled Yu spun faster, eventually combining themselves in one, Golden Tarot Card; the World. Yu reached out and took hold of the card, letting the power of bonds flow through him.

“Though you may go to face your opponent once again,”

***

“remember not to lose sight of the real threat at hand.” Lavenza said. Akira nodded, then turned towards Igor.

“I look forward to seeing how well you do.”

Akira’s vision started to blur, and the room around him, along with Igor and Lavenza, faded.

“I look forward to seeing how well you do.”

Marie, who hadn’t said a word to Yu yet, got up from her seat and looked towards him. “Please...come back to us...to me safely. I’ll...never forgive you if you don’t.” Yu smiled and gave her a nod. “I promise.”

Yu’s Vision started to blur, and the room around him, Igor and Margret as well, started to along with it. But not Marie. She stood there, hands together, looking down. “I will give you protection when you need it most...I...I love-“

Akira and Yu both woke up, feeling more powerful than ever before. Simultaneously, the two Wild Cards stood up, and starred at each other. Both knew exactly what they had to do, and how to do it. It was here and now that they would truly end this fight.

Akira’s mask was removed from his face without him doing any specific movements to do so. Behind him, Arsene was summoned, and blue chains circled the two. Akira gripped onto one of the chains and broke it, lighting the chains with blue flames. A surge of power exploded from Arsene that pushed Yu back. Blue flames had engulfed the Persona and had kicked up the chains Akira had broken. Arsene let out a roar as it began its transfiguration, then seemingly exploded, sending multiple small fragments of light to scatter, falling off the arena and fading into nothing.

Where Arsene once was, a six-winged demon took its place. It had horns, a halo with rigged wings attached to it, and a long gun that formed in its right hand. Yu was impressed with Akira’s new Persona, but he also had a trick up his sleeve.

Yu removed his glasses and threw them to the side, then closed his eyes and focused. A large blue light that kicked the dust around him surrounded him. Yu raised his arm up towards the air, and the World Arcana card appeared, hovering over his hand. Yu opened his eyes, and crushed the card. His Persona, Izanagi appeared, and a brillant light emitted from it. Izanagi began its transfiguration, and when the light faded, the Persona had changed its appearance, like Arsene. The new Persona wore a white, grey, and gold suit, wore a new helmet that had two long blades at the end of it, and carried an even longer spear with a golden circular guard that surrounded the handle.

With their Ultimate Personas brought into the battle field, the two Wild Cards could commence the final battle. They only needed to start with simple commands.

“Pillage him! Satanael!”

“Go! Izanagi-no-Okami!”

Satanael and Izanagi-no-Okami charged at each other, with Izanagi-no-Okami swinging it’s spear horizontally. Satanael moved to the side, avoiding being cleaved, and aimed its gun at Izanagi-no-Okami. Yu’s Persona swatted the gun out of the way before Satanael could fire, making the bullet miss it’s target. Then, Izanagi-no-Okami delivered a blow with its fist, punching Satanael across the face.

After being sent back, Satanael laid it’s hand on the ground, all while Izanagi-no-Okami stretched its arm out towards Akira’s Persona. Simultaneously, strong electricity struck Satanael from above, and from below, a damaging curse attack struck Izanagi-no-Okami. Both took minimum damage from each other’s attacks, so their Users kept at it. Taking out the Blade of Totsuka, Yu ran to join his Persona, while Akira took out his Lost Paradise and God of a Thousand Demons to meet Yu in combat one last time. The Users and the Personas had joined together, and continued to charge towards each other.

Yu moved in unison to Izanagi, swinging his sword at Akira. In response, Akira took a jab with his dagger, with Satanael aiming to bash Izanagi-no-Okami’s stomach with the head of its gun. Akira and Yu clashed weapons, and so did their Personas. However, Akira had a trick up his sleeve. With his other hand free, he aimed his gun at Yu, with Satanael aiming its gun at Izanagi-no-Okami’s stomach. Yu realized what was happening at the right moment, moving with his Persona to avoid getting shot twice. After Akira and his Persona fired, and ultimately missing, the Phantom Thief and his Persona took advantage of Yu and Izanagi-no-Okami’s vulnerability, kicking the both of them as they moved to avoid being shot.

Yu and his Persona took the blow to their sides, and skidded back. With a glare from Yu as a command, Izanagi-no-Okami  stretched its arm out again, and engulfed Akira and Satanael in a torrent of flame. This only resulted in minor damage to both, and Satanael returned the favor with a devastating nuclear attack. Yu figured his Persona would be resistant to the attack, and though it surprisingly was, it still hurt like hell. Izanagi-no-Okami began to show how relentless it could be by using a powerful wind attack on Satanael, then following it up with a powerful ice attack, managing to freeze the Persona.

The ice broke near instantly, though, and Satanael fired multiple bullets at Izanagi-no-Okami, whom spun its spear in a circle, deflecting the bullets. Then, after both Personas casted buffs on themselves, the two began to use Megidolaon. The stage exploded, with light covering the whole area until both attacks ceased. Yu and Akira panted heavily as both tried their best not to give out. Out of nowhere, Izanagi-no-Okami fired a mixture of lighting, wind, fire, and ice at Satanael, striking the Persona with immense damage. Despite the resistances the Persona held, that attack hurt like hell. Acting fast, Satanael aimed its gun at Izanagi-no-Okami, firing two bullets. One infused with curses, and the other infused with nuclear energy.

Izanagi-no-Okami readied it’s spear to swat the bullets aside, but found it was too slow, and both bullets struck. Satanael flew towards Izanagi-no-Okami, firing more bullets at it. Yu’s Persona could only block the bullets with its spear, and when it lowered its weapon, Satanael was right in its face. Before Izanagi-no-Okami could attack, Satanael delivered a strong punch across its helmet. Skidding back, Izanagi-no-Okami thrusted its spear, making Satanael move aside to dodge it. However, that’s what Yu wanted. The circle guard around the handle suddenly turned the blade around, slicing Satanael’s side.

Acting on Satanael’s vulnerability, Izanagi-no-Okami delivered two punches to the Persona with one hand, then struck the Persona with an electrically charged spear. Satanael was knocked back, and after it gained its bearings, it could see the opposing Persona stretch its arm out again, only waiting for its User’s command. “Ziodyne.”

A giant beam of electricity burst from Izanagi-no-Okami’s hand, heading directly towards Satanael. Akira and his Persona braced themselves, letting the beam crash into them. That’s when Satanael managed to power through the pain and moved aside, catching Yu and Izanagi-no-Okami’s attention. Satanael fired a single bullet at the Persona, forcing it to cease its lighting beam and go on the defensive. Izanagi-no-Okami sliced the bullet cleanly in half, but this was only a distraction. While Satanael attacked from one side, Joker attacked from the other, firing his shiny new gun at Yu. Unfortunately for him, Yu realized this too late, and could only block a few of the bullets. Others grazed him, and two got him in his right arm and left leg.

Yu would never let this slow him down, and his attention was now completely on Akira. The Phantom Thief was joined by Satanael, just as Izanagi-no-Okami returned to Yu’s side. Despite the wounds the two suffered, they started walking towards one another, their Personas disappearing behind them. As the two Wild Cards neared each other, they started to pick up the pace to a light jog, and then to a full on sprint. Their thoughts ran faster than their legs, as the two of them reminded themselves who they were fighting for, and why they needed to win in the first place.

Akira and Yu were in close proximity, and they swung their weapons and clashed. They skidded back from each other as the collision was of equal force. But it wasn’t their physical strength alone that fueled the power of their strikes; it was the strength of their bonds, which the two of them would begin to fully embrace to win the dual of the Wild Cards.

“Persona!”

Satanael and Izanagi-no-Okami were summoned once more.

“Come on, Joker! You got this!”

Morgana’s voice sounded in Akira’s head. Satanael fired a barrage of bullets towards Yu’s Persona. Izanagi-no-Okami braced itself, taking the gun fire.

“Give it all you’ve got, partner!”

Heeding Yosuke’s words, Yu commanded Izanagi-no-Okami to strike Satanael with a strong wind attack. With a battle cry from Yu, the wind suddenly grew more powerful, and Satanael received multiple cuts from it.

“You got this, dude!”

After the wind ceased, Akira sprinted towards Yu, his Persona close behind him. More wind attacks came their way, and each and every one hit the two of them. But, Ryuji’s voice allowed Akira to power through it all.

“Just like we practiced! You ready!?”

Yu nodded, and also sprinted towards Akira with Izanagi-no-Okami. Recalling his practice with Chie, Yu slid with his Persona, generating electricity and tripping Akira. Then, right after getting up, Izanagi-no-Okami delivered a swift kick to Satanael’s back, making it crash onto the ground with Akira.

“Don’t let anybody kick you down! You hear!?”

Akira began to get up, just like Ann said, and had Satanael lay it’s hand on the ground, blasting Yu with a now powerful curse move.

“You can do this, right Narukami? I believe in you.”

With a shout from Yu, Izanagi-no-Okami sent fire through the curse, nailing Satanael in the face with fire, and Yu silently thanked the encouragement from Yukiko.

“Take my power, and with it, you will be able to paint a beautiful victory.”

Akira dashed towards Yu.

“Come on, Senpai! Kick this guy’s ass!”

Yu dashed towards Akira.

Satanael stretched one arm back, as did Izanagi-no-Okami, and when they neared one other, both Personas collided their attacks, creating a powerful shockwave. It wasn’t just their power that did this, but the strength Yusuke and Kanji lent to them.

“The Joker I know never loses, even in the face of death!”

“You’ve just bearly begun, Sensei! Show him what you’re made of!”

After the punches, Satanael and Izanagi-no-Okami rose up to the air. Yu’s Persona spun its spear around, then sent a barrage of ice towards Akira’s Persona. But it was only shattered by a beam of nuclear energy.

“Please, don’t leave me and Sojiro alone! I don’t know what I’d do if you never come back!”

I have your back, Senpai! You have to win this!”

Almighty power started flowing within both Persona’s weapons, letting the two aim at each other. Beams of almighty power fired from the gun of Satanael and the spear of Izanagi-no-Okami, colliding and resulting in a massive explosion of white that engulfed the two Personas.

“Joker, I will lend you my power. I hope it will aid you greatly.”

“You gave me a reason to stay just as I am. And with my power, you have no reason to lose.”

From the light in the sky, Satanael flew downwards towards the arena, holding onto Izanagi-no-Okami’s head. Then, it slammed the Persona onto the ground, and proceeded flying forwards, dragging Izanagi-no-Okami along. Afterwards, Satanael threw Izanagi-no-Okami towards one of the pillars, making it collapse on impact.

“Look, I’m not good with words. But...I’m just glad you came into not only my life, but Futaba’s as well. And now, I finally have a way of showing thanks.”

Knowing it’s opponent would stand back up, Satanael aimed its weapon in the direction Izanagi-no-Okami was thrown. Just as Yu’s Persona was rising up, Satanael fired a few shots, nailing Izanagi-no-Okami in the shoulders and its helmet, making a noticeable dent. Izanagi-no-Okami fell back down immediately afterwards.

“I was supposed to take care of you. But you took care of me. Maybe that’s how we were able to pull it off in the end. How we were truly able to become a family.”

Izanagi-no-Okami rose up again, allowing Satanael to fire once more. This time, however, the bullets passed right through it. Izanagi-no-Okami disappeared from sight, only to be summoned by Yu again. Just after Satanael turned around, lighting struck it from above.

“You helped me change when I acted irrationally. Now, I will help you as best as I can.”

The gun Satanael wielded dissipated And was replaced with cursed energy. In the other hand, nuclear energy was beginning to form.

“Big bro, you’ll be OK, won’t you? I know you’ll come back! I know it!”

Izanagi-no-Okami’s spear began to spin rapidly. Electricity, wind, fire, and ice were generating from the circular guard of the spear.

The energy both had gathered up was focused into two beams of devastation that were fired at each other. The combined power of elements, curses, and energy clashed, and both sides struggled against each other.

“You saw injustice in society, and acted upon it. You brought justice when we believed it couldn’t have been done. Consider this a favor that I am returning to you.”

“I was merely here to assist you in any way I can. But I’ve been drawn closer to you. I will lend you my strength. You have need of it.”

As the beam struggle lasted, the attacks resulted in an explosion that made energy surge throughout the area. Both Satanael and Izanagi-no-Okami stood on equal grounds, with Akira and Yu in front of them. The two looked worn out, but decided to keep at it. Their Personas faded, and they sprinted towards each other, swinging and colliding weapons.

Akira swerved side-to-side as he avoided swings from Yu, proceeding to attack back with his own weapon. Yu blocked any incoming strikes Akira attempted, and when he was under the threat of Akira’s firearm, Yu jumped over Akira, avoiding any and all gun fire. Immediately after landing, Yu turned around and swung his sword, meeting with Akira’s dagger. But, this position left Akira vulnerable, and Yu delivered a kick to him, making the Phantom Thief stagger back.

“There was a reason you were chosen.”

“You held the power to do anything and everything.”

“And you used that power to help me.”

“You truly are something special. But now’s not the time to hold back.”

“Now’s the time-“

“-to show your true power.”

Akira started backing away from Yu until he was at a safe enough distance. Yu, oddly enough, did not pursue his foe, and instead stood and watched, but had his guard up, ready for the inevitable attack. Akira’s mask burned off his face, and he held out his hand. From every direction, small streaks of light flowed over to Akira, forming a sphere of light over his palm. The Wild Card crushed the light in a similar fashion to Yu.

For a moment, nothing happened, and Yu began to wonder if Akira lacked the energy needed to accomplish his goal. Yu could only wish for that to be the case. Lighting rained down from the sky, followed by bellowing thunder, and from the sky came an unbelievable sight. Yu couldn’t believe what he was seeing. Satanael, the Persona Izanagi-no-Okami fought on par with, had grown in size, incredibly so.

The giant demon lord, now nearly as tall as the building Akira and Yu fought on, was now only a couple of yards away from the building itself. Yu staggered back for a moment, but managed to stand tall against the towering Persona. The World Arcana appeared in front of him, and he took hold of it, and crushed it. Though it wasn’t anywhere close to the size Satanael currently had, Izanagi-no-Okami wasn’t backing down now. After all, Yu had fought and decimated foes of similar size.

Satanael formed it’s gun again and aimed it at Izanagi-no-Okami, with Akira doing the same. In response, Izanagi-no-Okami held its spear out in front of itself, and the blade spun around, making the ends of the circular guard glow.

“It’s time...”

Akira slowly started to pull the trigger of his gun in unison to Satanael.

“Thousands died, but tens of thousands were born in their place!”

Yu stretched his arm out towards Satanael.

“Begone.”

“THIS IS TRUTH!”

Akira and Satanael pulled the trigger of their weapons, but only Satanael’s gun fired. On the other end, Izanagi-no-Okami’s spear began to pulse with energy, then sent forward multiple explosions of power.

Sinfull Shell clashed with Myriad Truths, and energy surged all around. Not just the arena, but the entire town of Yaso Inaba. It could be felt by everyone there.

***

Within the Velvet Room, Igor watched intently as the clash of god-slaying attacks struggled to bypass one another. Margret and Lavenza started looking around, as they too could feel the energy given off by the attacks. “So, this is how they intend on bringing fourth destruction.” Margret said. Lavenza nodded. “If nothing is done, the beast will soon attack. I wonder if they will have the power necessary to beat it.” Margret looked in the corner of the room, spotting Marie curled up in the corner. She walked over to her and knelt down. “If you do this...you know you will-“ “I know.” Marie said. “But I would rather it happen to me than to him.”

***

The attacks continued to push against each other with no results being achieved on either side...that is until the Sinfull Shell began piercing through the Myriad Truths. To Yu’s surprise, the enormous bullet powered through his attack, and headed straight for Izanagi-no-Okami.

Sinfull Shell broke through Izanagi-no-Okami’s spear, and not long after, Izanagi-no-Okami itself. In the blink of an eye, Satanael’s attack ripped through Izanagi-no-Okami, leaving behind a gaping hole in its chest and torso, even reaching its neck. Izanagi-no-Okami started to crack and break apart, until it shattered completely. As for Yu, he was in complete shock. His body failed to move, and he found himself on the verge of collapse. Satanael began to fade away, leaving Joker to run over to his opponent.

As soon as Akira neared, Yu started to fall, but thankfully Akira caught him before he could fall flat on the floor. Akira turned himself to face the same direction of Yu, and wrapped Yu’s arm around the back of his neck. The Phantom Theif started walking with Yu being dragged along, lacking the energy to walk, let alone stand. “I’m sorry...” Was the only thing Akira could say to Yu.

Suddenly, as if on cue, General Teddie and Mona appeared in front of Yu and Akira. “What do you want now?” Akira asked. “Awww! I guess Sensei wasn’t strong enough to keep the fight going! You can toss him aside, now! He’s worthless!” General Teddie said. Ignoring the bear’s rude comment, Akira got straight to the point. “What’s your goal here? Why did you set up this tournament and gather us all up?” Mona let out a sinister laugh. “Because. We needed something to attract our new beast!” “What are you talking about...?” Yu let out.

Suddenly, a strong wind blew passed the four. Akira and Yu looked up, and was greeted with a truly unforgettable sight.

8ea4ac83-d5f5-4d36-bc7c-6ad8a9bb5398 by Mastersword3710

“What is that!?” Shouted Akira. General Teddie and Mona both began laughing. “Don’t you get it!? This was the plan the whole time! This is the reason the P-2 Climax exists!” General Teddie explained. “We needed to draw our beast here somehow. And the collision of two god-killing attacks was the perfect bait! And now it’s here!” Mona said, followed up with a laugh. General Teddie slammed his cane on the ground, then turned around. “Let the cleansing of humanity begin!!”

The hands around the being of light started to peal away, and whatever was left of the hands got sucked in towards the center of the creature. For a moment, what looked to be a black hole formed in the sky, tans was then followed by an explosion of light soon followed. Beams of light scattered everywhere, lowering into the streets of Yaso Inaba, and even multiple parts of the towers.

General Teddie and Mona watched gleefully as they witnessed multiple Persona Users attempt to defend themselves, only to helplessly be consumed by the light. However, to their surprise, the light didn’t just consume the Persona Users, it went to consume them as well.

Mona was blown away, leaving Akira to move back with Yu. General Teddie starred at his oncoming doom, and was consumed as well. The beam that took General Teddie neared the two Wild Cards, and Akira was forced to let go of Yu, allowing both to fall onto the ground, making the beam pass right by them. As Yu began to lift himself up, he saw another beam head his way. With no energy left in him to summon his Persona, he braced himself for an inevitable death.

However, to his surprise, Marie appeared in front of him. “M-Marie! Get-“ Yu gasped in pain. “Get out of here!” Marie turned towards Yu and knelt down to him, placing her finger over his lips. “Dummy. I told you I would protect you when you needed it most.” Marie turned back to look at the oncoming attack, then looked at Yu again. “I love you.” She whispered. Then, after shielding Yu, Marie was consumed by the light. For a second, Yu did nothing but process what had happened, then he slammed his fist onto the ground and tried his best to get back up, but his body wouldn’t move.

The attacks did not cease, and were now focused on just Akira and Yu. Standing up, Akira removed his mask. “Satanael!” He shouted. Forming in front of the building, Satanael started tanking the rest of the beams of light, defending Akira and Yu. Akira ran over to Yu and tried helping him up. “Get up! Together, we can beat this thing!” Akira shouted. “No...” Said Yu. Akira looked surprised by what Yu said. “I don’t have the energy to fight, let alone stand. But you...you can do this. I know you can. I believe in you.”

Yu slowly let go of Akira’s wrist, letting Akira do the same. Akira stood up straight, and turned towards Satanael. He could feel that the attack, whatever it was, had stopped. Satanael dissipated, and Akira watched with anger as Galeem was still in sight. Multiple small spheres with multi-colored flames started to gather towards the monster of light. Akira turned back towards Yu, whom gave him a nod, and he nodded back, then made a sprint in the direction of Galeem.

:iconmiss-electro-pop: Uh...guess this is how he’s coming to Smash...?

:iconmastersword3710: I didn’t see that coming. Uh, anyway, this whole matchup was by far the closest dual we’ve done so far.

:iconmiss-electro-pop: But there were still things that kept Akira above Yu.

:iconmastersword3710: First off, let’s look at strength. Surprisingly, there’s not a whole lot to go off of. Akira and Yu have beaten Shadows without the aid of their Personas. Their striking power is roughly equal. If we were to give any of the two a slight advantage, it would have to be Yu. He’s strong enough to knock around the likes of Aigis, who’s a robot mind you, with only a basic katana.

:iconmiss-electro-pop: Though Yu luckily prevails in strength, both he and Akira are on the same scale of speed.

:iconmastersword3710: Both Akira and Yu have shown average running speeds. They also can dodge just about the same amount of moves, and both can make quick dashes.

:iconmiss-electro-pop: This is sure gonna be salt in your lemonade, who remembers Akira’s Big Bang?

:iconmastersword3710: When talking durability, Akira’s Big Bang feat immediately comes to mind, and it’s time we address this. There’s a lot of controversy behind this one feat. Is the attack the equivalent to the Big Bang? Or, is it a visual effect that has no other substance. Evidence suggests...yes and no. One, there is the argument that because the Phantom Thieves see the attack as real, it IS real. And there’s a quote to support this.

“In other words, the Palace Rule determines the form and strength of their cognition.” -Makoto Nijima.

:iconmastersword3710: But if that’s the case, then why isn’t the ship and the enemies around them also damaged by this attack? There’s holes in the evidence that bring up large, unanswered questions. So, just to prove that it doesn’t really matter, let’s discredit this feat altogether.

:iconmiss-electro-pop: This was a waste of time. Just explain it Mastersword!

:iconmastersword3710: Ok ok! Since we’re discrediting this feat, Yu does gain the edge in durability due to more consistent feats. Not only did he survive a lighting bolt from Marie in the real world with no special protection, he was also at the epicenter of Aminio Sagiri’s beam that destroyed a small portion of Inaba.

:iconmiss-electro-pop: We also kinda can’t forget that Akira’s Parole job only gave him him a year of experience.

:iconmastersword3710: Meanwhile, Yu has had a year of experience as well, and more. Even if we were to discredit the Persona Q games and Cross Tag Battle, Yu still has more experience than Akira. This is thanks to his time in the Persona 4 Arena games and Persona 4: Dancing All Night. While it’s true that Akira also has a Dancing game, it’s clear that this game is non canon as it doesn’t have a story mode. Even if there was, he’d still be behind by two games.

:iconmiss-electro-pop: Wait, Dancing Games!? Nevermind, but what Akira does have are Persona Skills Yu never had experience with.

:iconmastersword3710: Nuclear, Psychic, even certain Bless and Curse skills. While it’s true that Yu will become familiar with these in Persona Q2, he won’t remember them once the game’s over. And speaking of Personas, this is where the fight gets difficult. Akira and Yu have Personas that counter each other in some way, even if they’re the exact same Persona. That is until they get to their Ultimate Personas.

:iconmiss-electro-pop: Yeah…we’re not forgetting how SATAN HIMSELF HAD THE STRONGER GOD-KILLER MOVE!

:iconmastersword3710: Sinfull Shell and Myriad Truths are pretty hard to quantify. We’ve heard arguments that Satanael is universal, while Izanagi-no-Okami is city level. But that would mean Izanami-no-Okami only had city level durability. Which doesn’t make a whole lot of sense for a god to only have city level durability, especially when said god has pulled of similar feats to Yaldabaoth. So, let’s forget about destructive capability and focus on why Akira’s god-slaying feat is more impressive than Yu’s.

Fanboy: B-But Yu beaten many gods with out his Ultimate Persona!

:iconmiss-electro-pop: What are you doing, go back into the basement! *Holding an Arm Cannon* Be right back! *chases the fanboy*

:iconmastersword3710: Uhhh...anyway, it is true Yu has FOUGHT many other gods without Izanagi-no-Okami, but he’s never beaten them without outside help. Hi-no-Kagutsuchi was taken out by Izanagi and Magatsu-Izanagi fusing into a sword and stabbing it in the head. While Yu did most of the fighting, he had Adachi’s help to actually kill it. Mikuratana-no-Kami was actually bested by Izanagi-no-Okami’s Myriad Truths, and the power of dance and rock. Yu also had help from, at the very least, Minato and Zen to beat Chronos. And the System was taken down by the combined might of Ragna, Yu, Ruby Rose, and Hyde. And guess what? All of these gods had similar feats to Yaldabaoth. But, there was one feat Yaldabaoth had that no other god Yu faced off had; banishing Igor.

*Background blasting noises and screaming*

:iconmastersword3710: Uh, so, Akira not only single handily killed a god that shared feats that other gods had, but had one that no other god Yu fought had. Thus leaving no question that Sinfull Shell could beat out Myriad Truths.

:iconmiss-electro-pop: Whew...done with that. Akira just stole this victory, and it was a truth Yu just couldn’t handle.

:iconmastersword3710: The winner is Akira Kurusu.

Akira Kurusu (Winner):
+On his own, had better range with his gun.
+Infiltration tools could throw Yu off.
+Much more durable if the Big Bang feat is legit.
+Personas possessed Skills Yu is unfamiliar with.
+Satanael+Sinfull Shell>>>Izanagi-no-Okami+Myriad Truths.
=Strength.
-> -Maybe a little weaker, but not by much.
=Speed.
=Intelligence.
=Skill.
=Ultimate Personas aside, Personas countered each other.
=Could buff himself and debuff Yu.
-Less experienced.

Yu Narukami (Loser):
+More durable if we discredit the Big Bang feat.
+More experienced.
=Strength.
-> +Maybe slightly stronger, but not by much.
=Speed.
=Intelligence.
=Skill.
=Ultimate Personas aside, Personas countered each other.
=Could buff himself and debuff Akira.
-On his own, had inferior range.
-Infiltration tools could throw him off.
-Akira’s Personas possesses Skills he was unfamiliar with.
-Izanagi-no-Okami+Myriad Truths<<<Satanael+Sinfull Shell.

Ok, so, originally, Guardians VS Daleks was supposed to be next. Buuuut I’ve lost motivation to work on it. Just thinking about how the fight would play out and all that wasn’t just...I don’t know, dumb? So, I’m replacing that fight with another, much better, fight. So, Next Time on Death Battle...

Roman Torchwick (RWBY) VS Handsome Jack (Borderlands)

But man. Akira VS Yu really wore me out. If...if only there was somone I know who’s very knowledgeable on these two characters that could help me write the fight...
