Yu Narukami climbed the final steps. He had just beaten his previous opponent and friend, Yosuke. Whoever it was that was behind this would pay for making him hurt his friends. The Wild Card made it up to the top of the tower that loomed over Inaba. A sight that was all too familiar to him. The last time this happened, a god had been summoned using Persona shards. But this time, there were no Shadows to fight, and Yu didn’t feel as worn down as he did before. Something different had to have been going on.

At the center of the top was General Teddie, someone who Yu was a little more than fed up with at this point. “Good job, Sensei! I knew you couldn’t lose that last fight! But you still look a little worn down. Lemme help!” General Teddie tapped his cane on the ground, and Yu suddenly felt energized. His wounds from previous battles healed, and he felt as though he was at his peak. “What are you doing?” Yu asked. “I’m getting you ready for your next battle, silly! Your opponent also fought hard to make it here! It would be a shame if either of you weren’t at your best, then the fight would be over beary quickly!”

“What’s going on here, Teddie? How are you back? Why are you doing another tournament?” Yu asked. “Tsk tsk! It’s always questions with you, Sensei! Why are you never pumped about this whole tournament thing!? You’ve made it to the final round! You should be ecstatic to be here right now!” “W-well...I guess I am glad that this is ending soon and-“ “That’s the spirit! Now then, introduce Sensei’s opponent, Mona!” General Teddie commanded. Suddenly, a black mascot-looking cat jumped down from one of the columns. Yu didn’t even notice he was there. The cat, apparently named Mona, wore a gold crown, a yellow scarf, a gold bracelet on his left wrist, and wore a white shirt with the letter ‘M’ on it.

“Where did you come from!?” Yu questioned. Morgana gave Yu a smirk, his yellow eyes disturbed the Wild Card. It was as though this Mona was a Shadow of sorts. “A trickster doesn’t give his secrets away. You can call me Mona.” “Since the P-2 tournament was bigger than the P-1, I needed some major help hosting the tournament! And Mona was beary useful! Talk about two stones with one bird!” General Teddie Said. Yu blinked for a second before saying, “That’s...not how the saying goes.” General Teddie stomped his foot. “Details details! All this chatter is making me beary impatient! Mona! Introduce Sensei’s final opponent already!” “Since when did you get to boss me around!? You said we get to be equals!” “This is unbearlievable! No arguing! Just do it!” “Fine!” Mona groaned.

<da:embed id="PM5L9Zyk3UQ" profile="youtube" width="560" height="315">

On the opposite side of the roof, footsteps could be heard over the wind. “Mr. Narukami, I introduce to your biggest challenge yet! No one can escape his sight!” A young man walked up onto the roof, wearing a rather slick outfit and a mask. “It’s the Trickster Thief of Hearts! Joker!” Yu starred at his opponent, wondering what the heck he was even wearing. Akira only glanced at Yu before setting his sights on Morgana. He could tell just by the eyes alone, that this wasn’t his Mona. “Who are you exactly, and what are you up to?” Akira asked bluntly.

“Why can’t anyone ever be excited about fighting!? They always ask questions about the situation rather than just accepting the reality in front of them!” General Teddie complained, stomping his foot into the floor. “Humans are always curious. It’s like it’s in their nature. But enough of this! Now that Joker’s here, we can get this final fight started!” “You’re right! No more standing around!”

“Bring on the ring!” The two said simultaneously.

Multiple pillars pierced parts of the roof, forming an invisible shield around the area. “Alright! Now that that’s settled, we’ll take our leave!” “We bid you both adiue! Fight to your heart’s content!” Morgana said gleefully. He threw down a smoke bomb, and just like that, Teddie and Mona were out of sight. Yu and Akira stood silently for a moment. “So, I assume you know the rules to this, right?” Yu asked. Akira nodded. “We fight each other, without holding back.” “I really wish there was a way to avoid fighting. But there’s no other option. So, don’t take any offense to what I’m about to do.” Akira smirked. “Likewise. I can’t afford to hold back, either. As long as you understand that, then we’re good.” Yu smiled. “You know, if the circumstances were different, I feel like we’d get along fairly well.” Yu said. “I was thinking the same thing.”

Drawing his sword from his sheath, Yu made a dash towards Akira, who prepared his dagger. Yu jumped, then proceeded to come down at Akira, attempted to strike with his blade. Akira leapt to the side, nearly avoid the quick attack, then proceeded to strike with his dagger. Yu quickly turned around, though, and met Joker’s dagger with his katana. Narukami pushed Akira back, which allowed Akira time to draw out his gun.

Joker opened fire, but Yu was quick enough to dodge the bullets, then ran forwards. Narukami slashed at Akira with his sword, but, with a confident smirk on his face, Akira bent back, making the blade barely avoid his neck. Akira jumped backwards, flipping in the process, and started firing at Yu. Instead of avoiding the bullets, Yu used his sword and sliced any that came his way, then dashed to Akira. After Joker landed, he fired two more shots at Narukami, who easily avoided them. Yu charged electricity through his katana and swung it at Akira.

To Yu’s surprise, Akira used a smokescreen, and vanished before the sword could reach him. The smoke spread more, and Yu coughed uncontrollably after accidentally inhaling some. “Where did he..?” Yu questioned. From behind him, a Molotov Cocktail had been thrown at his feet. Yu turned around, only to be pushed away by an explosion. Narukami hit the ground, but managed to recover fairly easily. Akira had now given away his position purposefully, which gave Yu an opportunity attack.

The two Wild Cards sprinted towards each  other. Akira tired swing his dagger, but was countered by Yu and his sword. With Akira now open, Yu struck with his fist, then sliced him a few times with his katana. Yu finished things off by channeling more electricity into his sword, then proceeded to send Akira flying with one swing. The Phantom Thief tumbled and rolled until he stopped, then slowly got up. Obviously, things hadn’t gone as well as he planned. Despite the looks, his opponent looked more skilled than he imagined. He probably would make for a great Phantom Thief. But Akira knew Now wasn’t the time for that. He was going to have to bring out the big guns.

Akira was surround by blue flames and spirit-like chains, reaching for his mask. Yu knew where this was going, and he himself was surrounded by blue light that kicked the dust upwards. The Fool Arcana card hovered down to Yu’s palms. Both were ready for the real battle.

“Ravish him, Arsene!”

“Let’s go, Izanagi!”

<da:embed id="LeMWjeqLm2U" profile="youtube" width="560" height="315">

Behind Akira, Arsene, the fictional gentleman thief appeared. And behind Yu, Izanagi, the Japanese deity creator, was summoned. Both Personas flew towards each other. Izanagi dragged its spears edge on the ground before swinging upwards to hit Arsene. Arsene simply moved aside, then slashed downwards at Izanagi with its claws. Yu’s Persona swatted Arsene’s attacking arm away, proceeding to hit Arsene with the butt of its spear.

Akira’s Persona lowered itself, then laid their hand on the floor in a quick motion. A sudden, but small, Curse attack struck Izanagi from underneath. However, the attack didn’t effect Yu’s Persona at all. Yu stretched his arm towards Arsene, with Izanagi following his movements. A lighting bolt then struck Arsene from above, and Akira could feel his Persona’s pain. But it wasn’t anything he couldn’t bare through. Izanagi returned to Yu’s side, just as Arsene had done the same.

Yu and Izanagi charged towards Akira and Arsene. The Japanese deity threw a electric projectile at Arsene, making the Persona brace itself for impact. After the attack struck with minor damage dealt, Yu’s real plan of attack was set in motion. Yu and Izanagi slid towards Akira and Arsene, the two covering themselves with electricity as they neared. Akira was not prepared for such an attack, and Arsene couldn’t defend itself in time. Narukami and his Persona struck Joker and his, electrifying the two in the process. Immediately afterwards, Izanagi proceeded the rapidly slash Arsene with its spear. Right in the middle of the attack, though, Arsene grabbed a non-sharp edge of the spear, then slashed Izanagi’s helmet with his claws, leaving noticeable five slash marks on the Persona’s helmet.

Arsene slashed again, but Izanagi had disappeared before the attack could land. Just after Arsene missed, Yu struck the Persona with an electrified katana strike. Then, from above, Izanagi reappeared, proceeding to come down on Arsene and strike them with its spear. Akira and his Persona were knocked by. It was then that Akira realized one thing about his opponent; he was more in sync with his Persona than Akira was with Arsene. Yu wasn’t just commanding Izanagi, he was fighting alongside him. Something Akira hadn’t seen coming.

Now was not the time to be impressed, however. Now was the time to strike, and Akira intended to do just that. The User and the Persona ran in close towards Yu and Izanagi. Arsene swung its right arm at Yu’s Persona, with the claws close together to strike with the power of a blade. At the same time, Izanagi had swung its spear, swinging with the literal strength of a blade. Meanwhile, Akira had swung his dagger at Yu, who met it with his katana. The Personas and their Users had found themselves in a lock.

To gain the upper hand, Yu kicked Akira’s side, just as Izanagi did the same to Arsene. The Personas faded, leaving the two Users to fight on their own. The first thing Akira did was pull his gun out, then opened fire on Yu as fast as he possibly could. Like before, Yu avoided the the gunfire. Unlike before, he was leaving streaks of lighting behind him. Yu didn’t simply just stop after avoiding the bullets, he kept moving around Akira, whom was trying to keep up with Yu’s movements. The instant Akira found the right time to fire, Yu would move out the way.

Yu decided to surprise Akira again by getting right in his face, then swung his sword, making Akira swing his dagger. The two Wild Cards didn’t get into a lock this time. Instead, the strikes had pushed them back. The two of them breathed heavily, and both chose to switch things up. Simultaneously, Akira and Yu switched to their next Personas, then summoned them. “Futsunushi!” “Mada!”

The Ultimate Personas of the Magician’s Arcana were brought out. Behind Akira was a man with bandages surrounded by multiple swords. And behind Yu was a tall, four armed monster deity with flames around its waist and on top of its head. Yu wasted no time after the Personas were brought out, and Mada attacked by summoning a tower of flame beneath Akira and his Persona. However, the both of them swiftly dodged the attack and headed straight for Yu and Mada. This didn’t surprise Yu, though, as he was familiar with what Futsunushi could do.

Futsunushi got close enough to Mada, letting all the swords around them spin around to strike the monster deity. Mada moved back, avoiding the swords, then used another fire attack. At the same time, Akira made his Persona cast a spell. This made Futsunushi take the strong fire attack, but the damage was halved, even with Mada’s fire boosts. It was a rather smart move, one that Yu couldn’t help but smile at. Akira then casted another spell, increasing his physical attacks.

The blades of Futsunushi gathered around him, and slashed at Mada 3 times altogether. Noticeable cuts were on Mada’s arms and chest now, but Yu didn’t seem to care all too much. Yu could tell Akira was boosting his Persona’s attacks with spell-casting. Fortunately, Yu had a solution to this. Casting a spell of his own, Mada successfully silenced Akira, preventing him from casting anymore spells. Then, Mada summoned another pillar of flames beneath the two, successfully burning them.

Even with the slow healing he was receiving, Akira knew he was taking on too much damage, even by halving the amount he was taking. But, he knew it was way to early to give in, and he wasn’t about to switch out his Persona. Futsunushi gathered his swords, lining them up one-by-one, then swung the blades at Mada. Each sword struck at what felt like the same time, making a deep cut on Mada’s chest. Yu nearly failed to keep the pain in as he gripped his chest. He clenched his fist, just as Mada did with its own. Only, with Mada, it’s fist lite with flames. Yu looked up at Akira, letting out a battle cry, which Mada responded to by delivering a flaming blow to Futsunushi’s face.

Akira definitely felt that attack as he staggered backwards. Both he and Yu were breathing heavily, and the two Personas faded away. It was time, now, for their next Personas to be brought into battle. “Chi You!” “Futsunushi!” After the removal of his mask, a Chinese deity formed behind Akira, wielding a sword, axe, spear, and a shield. And after the crushing of his Tarot card, the Shinto god of multiple blades appeared behind Yu.

<da:embed id="nBy4Ir_Pfng" profile="youtube" width="560" height="315">

As Akira stared at Yu’s Persona, he thought about how he could’ve switched to a Persona with some Nuclear attack. However, it was too late. And, from his own experiences, Futsunushi wouldn’t be at all effective against Chi You. The two Ultimate Personas of the Chariot Arcana flew at each other. The multiple sword of Futsunushi swung at Chi You from multiple directions, only to be met with Chi You’s weaponry and shield. Akira’s Persona challenges Yu’s in strength. Futsunushi struggled to pushed Chi You’s weapon’s out of the way. As a matter of fact, it was like Chi You wasn’t even trying. With a strong push, Chi You pushed the swords back, and thrusted its sword towards Futsunushi.

Just as Chi You was about to hit its target, all of Futsunushi’s blades came in and blocked the blow. Chi You suddenly got impatient, and started rapidly swinging its three weapons. But with each swing, Futsunushi, without making a particular move, defended by blocking each strike with its swords. Almost immediately afterwards, Yu casted Power Charge on himself, then made Futsunushi strike with Primal Force. Akira did nothing in particular to stop this attack, as he already knew what would happen.

Futsunushi struck Chi You, but it’s physical attack was repelled, making the Persona hit itself. But, to Akira’s surprise, Futsunushi nullified the attack. His Futsunushi wasn’t capable of nullifying such an attack automatically. So, either Yu gave his Futsunushi a special Skill, or Yu’s Personas were naturally different from his. But, there was a bigger issue at hand, one that both Akira and Yu has come to realize. Chi You was capable of repelling or absorbing Futsunushi’s physical attacks. But, at the same time, Futsunushi would be able to nullify all of Chi You’s physical attacks. Thus, the two Chariot Personas would be in an utter stalemate. It didn’t matter what strength boosting Skill the two had. Neither’s attacks would deal any damage to each other. Akira smirked, as he had already came up with an easy solution to his problem. None of Chi You’s physical attacks could hurt Futsunushi...but he had more than just that.

Yu figured to switch his Persona with on hopefully more suited for this fight. “Persona! Sca-!” Yu was interrupted as a strong, yet unfamiliar attack struck Futsunushi. Yu staggered back, as he had no idea what just hit him. From what he could tell, his Persona wasn’t weak to whatever the attack was, but it wasn’t resistant to it either. The move Akira had used was a Psychic attack, something he knew Futsunushi wouldn’t be weak to, but the Persona wouldn’t be strong against it either. Akira casted Concentrate on himself, boosting his magic power, then proceeded to attack Yu with another Psychic attack.

Futsunushi took another hit, and it was a bit baffling to Yu that he couldn’t recognize the attack Chi You was using. If he had Rise or maybe even Teddie there, he would have this figured out in no time. But he couldn’t rely on them, as much as he wanted to. At this rate, he would lose. But what more could he do? The only attacks Futsunushi had were physical strikes, which would be repelled back at him, not that it would be a problem. Yu was given no time to think, as Akira used the same Psychic attack as before. This time, Yu swiftly dodged out of the way, then ran towards Akira. Another Tarot Card came to Yu’s hand, and he was about to crush it. “Come, Sca-!” However, Akira interrupted Yu with a Psycho Blast, heavily damaging Narukami.

Yu summoned Futsunushi once more, and made his Persona send all of its blades at Akira. With Chi You already summoned, Akira’s Persona easily deflected all of the blades. But this was all the time Yu needed for a Persona change. Futsunushi disappeared, and the Priestess carsd floated over Yu’s palm. Chi You was sent forward to strike to before he could do anything, but it was too late.

“Let’s go, Scathach!”

Chi You was nearly blown away by Yu’s summoning. Just after Chi You got its bearings, it struck by a strong wind attack, damaging the Persona. Scathach, the Ultimate Persona of the Priestess Arcana has been brought out, and Akira was not happy with the change. He believed he had the fight won with Chi You, but he could no longer keep that up. Akira removed his mask, and summoned another Persona.

“Come forth, Ishtar!”

After Chi You disappeared, it was replaced with the Ultimate Persona of the Lovers Arcana, Ishtar. Yu didn’t hesitate to act any further, proceeding to boost Scathach’s wind power, then using a powerful wind attack on Ishtar. It would’ve damaged the Persona greatly, had it not absorbed it thanks to a very useful skill. Akira made his Persona use a strong electric attack, damaging Yu and his Persona.

Scathach clashed its hands together, proceeding to spin its arms in a circle pattern, then snapped their fingers. A strong ice attack struck Ishtar, whom returned fire, making lighting rain down upon Yu’s Persona. From Yu’s experience, Electric attacks are all Ishtar has, and no real way to amp said attacks up. He had the advantage. Scathach flew towards Ishtar, swinging their leg at Akira’s Persona. Ishtar did block the attack with her hands, but did nothing else to attack back.

Scathach casted two attack boosting Skills, then used a now powerful ice attack on Ishtar, damaging the Persona and the User greatly. However, all damage dealt was immediately gone as Akira made Ishtar cast a healing Skill. Despite that, Scathach threw another kick, which Ishtar caught with their hands again. With Ishtar open, Yu intended to have Scathach use an ice attack right on their face. What ended up happening instead was Ishtar sent an electrical current through Scathach’s leg and up their body, causing the Persona as well as Yu to become paralyzed.

As if that wasn’t enough, Ishtar stretched their hands out towards Scathach, summoning lighting down to strike the Persona. Even though he was paralyzed, Yu managed to cast a Skill that cured him and Scathach of the paralysis. And, still with their ice power boosted, Yu made his Persona attack Ishtar with a damaging ice move. Even then, Yu knew Akira would simply heal himself from the damage instantly. Even with the advantage Yu has with power boosting Skills, Akira would still be able to hurt him, and Scathach wouldn’t be able to heal from it. It was time for another change of tactics. Of course, Akira healed himself from the earlier attack, then proceeded to summoning another lighting bolt to strike Yu.

<da:embed id="EK7t2IPQc-s" profile="youtube" width="560" height="315">

“I’m counting on you! ODIN!”

Yu crushed the Emperor’s Arcana, bringing forth a god of Norse Mythology. Ishtar’s lighting attack was nullified by Odin, whom proceeded to spin its spear around. Odin charged towards Ishtar, thrusting its spear towards Akira’s Persona.

“Come forth, Odin!”

Akira removed his mask, quickly replacing Ishtar with a new Persona. The spear of Yu’s Odin had been met with that of Akira’s Odin. Perfectly countered. The two Odom’s eased up slightly. “Two of the same Persona.” Akira began to say. “They should be evenly matched. That is, unless one of us slips up.” “Hope you got as much practice in with them as I did.” Yu said. Akira smirked. “Enough practice to best you.” Akira got himself into a battle position, along with his Odin. “You can be sure of that.” Yu got himself into one as well, same with his Odin.

Yu and Akira ran for one another, with their Odins right behind them. Both Wild Cards swung their weapons, clashing them together just as their two Personas clashed their spears. With equal strength on both sides, Akira and Yu were pushed back from each other, along with their Odins. Unlike the Users, the Personas rushed towards each other once more, thrusting their spears at one another. Sparks flew as the sharp edges of the spears clashed. Suddenly, the two started rapidly thrusting their spears in an attempt to hit one another. But with every strike one Odin gave, it was met with equal force from the other.

The rapid session of attacks let up, but nether were done. Far from it. The Odins’ spears started to light up, empowered with electricity. Yu’s Odin slashed horizontally towards Akira’s, sending an electrical surge towards the Persona. Akira’s Odin counter by swatting the surge away from it, then aimed its spear at Yu’s Odin, sending the strongest lighting attack it could muster towards it. The beam of electricity struck the chest of Yu’s Odin, who wasn’t phased one bit. Yu’s Odin started to effortlessly move towards Akira’s Odin, ignoring the lighting.

Odin grabbed Odin’s spear, redirecting the beam of lighting elsewhere, then proceeded to thrust their spear forward. Akira’s Odin caught the spear before it could pierce through its side, and tried yanking it out of the hands of Yu’s Odin, but to no avail. Yu’s Odin bashed Akira’s Odin in the head with its own, separating the two Personas, but only leaving Akira and his Persona to drop their guard for a moment. Yu’s Odin thrusted it’s spread forward once again, but to it and Yu’s surprise, Akira’s Odin parried the attack, then countered with its own spear strike.

The scratches Akira’s Odin left on Yu’s started to slowly heal up, and Yu started to notice whatever damage he inflicted onto Akira wasn’t. Yu’s Odin started moving towards Akira’s slowly. Akira’s Odin thrusted it’s spear forward at Narukami’s Odin, only for Yu’s Persona to grab the spear and pull Akira’s Persona closer. Yu’s Odin thrusted it’s spear towards, impaling Akira’s on it. The Phantom Thief could feel immense pain from his chest as his Persona started to fade from Odin’s spear.

Yu’s Odin started to disappear, too. Yu began walking towards Akira, believing him to be defeated at last. “It was a good fight. But it’s over now.” Yu stopped a little ways away from Akira, who was now on one knee, clenching the area his Persona was stabbed in. Akira looked at Yu, but he didn’t have the look of defeat on his face. Instead it was the look confidence. Confidence that this victory will be his. The Phantom Thief smirked. “It’s far from over.” He began to stand up, “I’m far from done.” Reaching for his mask, “And...” taking hold of it. “...I will win.”

Akira ripped the mask right off his face, bringing out his sixth Persona to the battle field. The Phrygia deity, Cybele, floated behind Akira. “Odin!” Yu shouted, summoning Odin once more. Before Yu could do anything wit his Persona, Akira made Cybele blast the two of them away with a strong light attack. Yu rolled on the ground for a moment, his Persona gone, leaving just him. He couldn’t even begin to describe what had just happened. The attack he just felt was unlike anything from before. It felt similar to a normal light attack, but one that didn’t instantly kill him. But, if it didn’t miss, and yet didn’t kill Yu, what kind of attack was it?

Yu began to stand up, knowing he’d have to figure the problem out later. The Star Arcana card came to him, and he crushed it. “Helel.” He said. The fallen six-winged Angel was whom Yu had summoned, and Akira could feel the sheer power radiating off of it. This battle was going to be a tough one.

<da:embed id="gLd5eabSJ3g" profile="youtube" width="560" height="315">

Cybele moved towards Helel, taking hold of both swords, and swinging them to strike. But, all Helel needed to do was block them without effort. Despite that, Cybele still tried its hardest, swinging as fast as it could. Even with Helel’s eyes closed, Yu’s Persona perfectly defended itself from Cybele’s strikes.

Quickly learning this tactic wasn’t working, Akira casted a Skill upon himself, then had Cybele preform the same attack as before. A now powerful Bless attack struck Helel, but Yu and his Persona stood their ground. “Let’s go.” Yu said, making Helel attack back. From above Cybele, a giant, golden fist formed, slamming down on the Persona. The collision was so big, Akira was almost caught up in it, even with his Persona at a fair distance. Cybele started to rise up from the now fist-shaped crater in the ground.

Cybele healed itself and Akira from the attack, only to take a strong fire attack from Helel a second after. However, the damage dealt wasn’t much. And, as it was the only attack Cybele had that posed a threat, Helel was struck with another light attack. “Is that the best you can do?” Yu questioned. With a silent command, Helel stretched its arm out towards Akira and his Persona. Then, a bright light came over the two. Akira looked up, realizing it was Megidolaon. With little hesitation, Akira leapt aside, his Persona joining him. Though the Almighty attack nearly missed the two of them, they were pushed back from the attack.

Akira was slammed against the invisible wall set around the rooftop, his Persona gone. After getting up, Akira could see Yu walk through the smoke. Summoning Cybele again, Akira used another Bless attack, just as Yu had used a fire one. The two attacks clashed, nearly blinding the two there. But, to Yu’s surprise, Akira leapt through the dying flames, swinging his dagger to strike him. Narukami didn’t have enough time to lift his sword to counterstrike, and by instinct, bent backwards, avoiding the attack.

After his quick recover, Yu swept kicked Akira, tripping him. However, Akira not only recovered easily with one hand, he used his momentum to kick Yu across the face. Yu staggered back, then summoned Helel again, just as Akira summoned Cybele. The two Personas clashed fire and light attacks once more, but while Yu knew Akira likely would try a similar stunt like before, he had an idea to catch the Phantom Thief off guard. And this time, hopefully beat him.

This time, instead of Akira, Cybele moved through the explosion, swinging their two towards. But there was nothing in front of the Persona to hit. The Target was too far for it. Soon after, Akira jumped through the smoke, seeing Yu and Helel were away from them. Akira made a dash towards Yu with Cybele moving in to strike Helel. But, this was what Yu figured would happen. Before the User and the Persona could get any closer, Helel opened its eyes, revealing nothing but white, glowing eyes. Cybele got close enough to strike, but was pushed away by a great, unknown force. That’s when Akira stopped himself, seeing that Yu was smirking. “This is over.” Yu said.

A very bright light shined down on Akira, making him look up. An enormous Almighty attack was coming down, one that he couldn’t simply jump away from. Morning Star struck Akira, creating a bright explosion that covered the entire rooftop. Yu stood, with Helel disappearing. He didn’t need to wait for the smoke to clear, however, as he could see Akira on the ground, defeated. “You fought well. But now, it’s truly over.” He said, regardless of whether Akira could hear him.

He could, and he strongly disagreed. Akira slowly began to get up. His outfit was mostly torn at this point, and blood was coming down his head, but he didn’t care. He couldn’t lose here, he didn’t want to. He needed to win. Akira reached for his cracked mask, ripping it off his face. The smoke around the two Wild Cards was illuminated by the blue light Akira brought. In response to this, the smoke began to kick up, as blue light surrounded Yu as well. Another Taro card came to him.

“Persona.”

The first part of the battle of the Wild Cards is now.

:toocool: Intense as hell yet lighthearted like heaven, with a pleasant layer of dialogue thrown in there, and I love it!:highfive:
