And the maiden saved herself by MasteroftheSword And the maiden saved herself by MasteroftheSword
"That injured and ill dragon thought he could make the people in the lake town give him maidens for breakfast, but Amy won't tolerate it! -Specially because she's the next maiden to be eaten, uh.-"

Oh, this is how the story of Amy, the Maiden Warrior, begins!
Woho- last big illustration of the Summer, next time comics, A4 or A3, whatever my old scanner can do.
Again problems while scanning, as you can see in the pic, but couldn't fix it. So sorry. But it doesn't look that terrible, does it? Whatever, until September I won't be able to scan with the plotter and, if life gives you lemons, make lemonade.
I think the sketch look better, more dynamic, but I like how I made the water with paper clips. Dunno.

420x500 mm
Paper clips, graphite, watercolours, markers and ink on cardboard.
Hope you like it!

Hey, I totally relate. If I had to deal with a hungry beast, I'm putting up a fight.

The scan quality looks fine to me. Do you have Adobe Lightroom? If you have a decent camera, you can prop the artwork or tape the back to a wall, create some even ambient light, and snap photos of it. Either way I use Lightroom and/or Photoshop to adjust the color balance. I haven't seen a problem with any color balance in your posts though.

Oh, I use GIMP for retouching the colours, but the original always looks better than the one in the screen -or I'm kinda obsessive with it-. I tried to make photos, but my phone is getting old, poor thing, and its camera doesn't work as it used to
