Ya know, I've always loved storyboards... it's like drawing a 30 second comic book...
I just found this campaign I had long forgotten about. Done with SKG Advertising in Vegas for L'Aurberge du Lac two or so years back... but I remember smiling through the whole job, done in one afternoon/evening...
The script by Eric Holman was stellar, it was something like: "Here's to you, the debutante, the weekend warrior, the desk jockey, etc..." in that deep voice, all shot in slo-mo... so we'd sit in his office and laugh and think about what these people looked like and what they could be doing... even snuck in a "Neuman" type Seinfeld character... ("Neuman!")
Click the drafting pencil, print out a stack of 3:4 panels
(2 up on letter size) and throw down peoples...
Isn't this commercial art... well, um, yes.
But it's always been done on my terms with my input... so doesn't that make it a bit... deviant?
