A book of the Starfleet Museum in now available.
The Starfleet Museum book
A book version of the Starfleet Museum is now available for purchase at Lulu: http://www.lulu.com/shop/masao-okazaki-and-dan-carlson/starfleet-museum-print-edition/paperback/product-23571015.html#productDetails To keep the book as cheap as possible (and avoid a C&D order), neither I nor the great editor Dan Carlson is making any profit from this. All you pay will go to Lulu for printing and shipping. The book's slightly limited from the full website (and doesn't include articles on USS Asia [designed by Bernd Schneider] and Furious and Spectre [my TOS movie era designs that I don't think were that good]), and CG images and ship patches
Devious Journal Entry
Sorry I haven't posted on this site for a long time. (I did post some Minnesota flags, but I deleted them because they were terrible.) I blame my lazy brain, distraction by Netflix, and the amount of time I spend doing "real world" work. I also blame Adobe Systems Inc. for buying and executing my beloved Freehand drawing program. Illustrator still gives me a headache.

Do you think you will be doing more commercial and civilian ships for the star fleet meusum? I would love to send you some ideas!

I have several ships already designed, but I've been too busy with real-world responsibilities to write articles about them (which is always the hard part for me). I'm sorry that I can't accept ideas for ships from other people. I have plenty of ideas of my own that I will come to first, if ever (cargo ships, TAS ships, space stations, etc. etc. etc.).

I did some layout work on an Andorian ship because one of my Museum concepts is that the Andorians built some of the ships I've designed. The ships looked sort of like flying wing aircraft, but I was never happy enough to turn them into complete designs. The most I've shown is on a patch for one of the Pyotr Velikiy ships (www.starfleet-museum.org/pyotr…). Shrelev II was probably an Andorian hero of the Earth-Romulan War. I've also tried a Gorn ship, but that was terrible! I've never tried a Vulcan or Tellar ship (Pigs in Space!).
