Holiday Card Project 2018!
The DeviantArt #HolidayCardProject is back to spread some holiday cheer once again!
Now on its 11th year, the Holiday Card Project aims to bring that cheer to patients in hospitals both in the United States and around the world during the holiday season, connecting artists everywhere and applying their tremendous artistic abilities to designing and creating meaningful, uplifting greeting cards.
Since it first started in 2004, the project has received nearly 28,000 cards sent in by thousands of deviants from over 60 different countries/political regions. Cards are then distributed by DeviantArt members and staff to different hospitals in the Greater Los Angeles ar

Upcoming Site Changes and Your Involvement
About a year and a half ago, we posted a journal discussing how DeviantArt’s acquisition would grant us the resources to make many positive changes for the site. Thus far, a lot of such improvements haven’t been entirely obvious — like the many new hires across all departments (we've more than doubled our staff!) or upgrades to the tools we use behind-the-scenes. All of this was done in order to bring you big-ticket changes, including a much-improved and redesigned site.
We've approached the redesign with a lot of consideration, which is why it’s been in development for so long. Not only do there continue to be lengthy internal conversations discussing every piece and every feature in explicit detail, but we
Visiting DeviantArt HQ!Recently, I had the wonderful opportunity to do some testing for DeviantArt at their headquarters. Luckily, now that I'm living in Pasadena, CA, and not Winchester, VA, it was only a 30 minute drive from campus. I kept the radio on as I drove, listening to the news from around the world, excited about what I might be testing. I got a bit lost at first, taking a wrong turn when trying to find the parking garage, but I finally did and made my way over to the office building and entered the elevator in the lobby.
As the elevator opened, I was greeted with dark greys and vibrant greens, as well as some hand-made signs pointing which direction DA HQ was -- though, it would have been hard to miss given the giant title immediately to my left. I walked into the reception area and was instantly greeted by the receptionist and the man who was to be my tour guide. I was led back to the kitchen and offered some light refreshments: drinks from the fridge and snacks from a cupboard. I couldn't help
New Profile URLsDeviantArt is constantly evaluating better ways to serve our community, from new features to smaller updates and bug fixes. Today, we're making a change to the format of profile URLs that will have a positive impact moving forward. In order to better serve you, we’re changing profile URLs from username.deviantart.com to deviantart.com/username.
Don't worry, your old URLs will still work, and you can continue to use them. Your old links/URLs will always redirect to your new ones.
We know a lot of deviants are attached to their URLs, so the decision to make this change was not done lightly. Part of the decision-making process involved surveying active deviants, and we discovered the overall sentiment was fairly neutral. Most people did not strongly prefer one or the other — as long as old URLs redirected. But, most importantly, we believe this change will be beneficial for you.
Why Changing URLs Is for the B
What to do with this account? What should I do with this account?
I don't feel motivated to post arts I draw anymore, 'cause no one cares at all the effort I put in. but leaving this account without posting anything isn't what I want either. So what should I use it for? Should I post photographies of stuff I buy? Or of my new cat? I'm not sure what to do, but I definetly think that this community is not worth it to show my arts to anymore. Not even for friends. I don't need this webside to show them what I draw. I have WhatsApp for this use.
Also I can use Sta.sh for people that don't use WhatsApp and can give them the link without lettig others have a view on. So I think, I've said all that needed to be spoken out. My low activity as an Artist here is only your (the community) fault.
Thanks for Attention

Hello..... Anybody home?Do I have any followers left?
I am sooooo sorry that you have not seen me on here. Just a few personal things going on. They caused a bit of a depression and instead of hitting the gym I hit the fridge and the booze.
I just got back from an 8.5 month trip covering Canada, Thailand and Cambodia.
I am in a better state of mind now and really want to get back in front of the camera!!!
First this means I have to get back into the gym !!!! NOBODY wants to see photos of me right now (especially me).
Thank you to everyone that has stuck around - especially after I saw my last post was just over a year ago!!! WOW !!!
I am going to look through my archives and maybe find some photos that I have not posted and put them up - just to keep your attention until I am back in shape.
Thanks again! Happy to be back!
New Artist IdentityHeyy everyone Just thought I'd let you know! :iconrelievedplz:
So the dealio is, I've never been satisfied with the username WhiteFoxCub. At the moment that I created the name, it was because WhiteFox was taken, 'Cub' had to be slapped on at the end of it just so I could use it, somewhat. And as some of you know, the significance of this particular name was in connection to my grandmother, who was also an artist. And her artist name was White Fox.
WhiteFoxCub has never truly felt like my own, basically, and it's been a little thorn in my side ever since I chose it. Next to that, people have often mistaken it for WhiteFoxCLUB, and I've never had the heart to correct them :icondontunderstandplz:
About a couple years back, a friend of mine referred to me as "The ever industrious fox!" and it's stuck with me since
