I really like the beading details on this one as well... really lovely piece.

Thanks, I guess it's my first "glamour-style" doll, boy these fabrics are expensive, like 50 dollars for 3 feet :omg:
Boggleboy's avatar
:omg::wow: That is expensive!!!!! But she is wonderful nonetheless, and considering how little you say you like doing "pretty" dolls! :giggle: I'd say you are equally skilled with this subject as you are with all those that you do in your sculptures!
MarylinFill's avatar
Thank you, I think I'll return to the napkins and paper after all)) It's cheaper)))

:giggle: I know what you mean, as doll makers we do have to keep our own material costs down! Still, I think it's nice to do a special figure now and then whereon one uses more costly materials just to push the whole thing a bit more, does that make sense?
MarylinFill's avatar
Sure, thank God I still can buy expensive materials as well and try different methods in dollmaking))) Also I need money for my pool and gym so... back to the napkins)))
Boggleboy's avatar
:giggle: yes, we do need to make some profit at what we do! :D

Oh, Mark's dolls aren't cheap at all... I sell mine for 300-500 dollars or something)))

Very well sculpted, and I love what you did with the hair and clothing.

beautiful work! ... love the textures
MarylinFill's avatar
Thanks, but it is so hard to take a photo of it, I have no idea why... :)

I know what you mean, miniature photography is an art form in itself. I think you're doing a great job with it.

Thank you, some dolls look better on the photos, but not this one :) also I tried to fix colors with photoshop, but still... In real life she is different)))
