....WHY??

Tag is a very stotic Perfaunt. He doesn't process emotions very well, and doesn't show them either. Only around Deli is he anything more then that. And even then, it takes a lot for more than his usual facial expressions to show.  He's uncomfortable with physical touching. Most griffolk call him vold hearted and avoid him if they can, lest they get snapped at.

Deli, on the otherhand, love life and loves everyone.  It takes a lot to make her angry.  They balance each other out.  She gets into dangerous situations more often than not, and he can't process the rush of worry, relief, love that erupts from the worry that she's hurt herself again.

Please.... I....can't....I cant lose you.....

 Plus she loves to playfully tease him and make him blush
