this is shot is very awesome. I love what you did with the lighting and shadow effects and the use of the smoke from the cigarette adds to the allure of it. Great job!

you have chosen a fitting title. our model is faceless and distressed--an indication gathered simply by the position of his hand. he is self soothing with his cigarette and wiping a tear all at once. headlights in the background suggest transition, change. the image is nearly black and white-no grey values, which indicates the emotional tone of loss. wonderfully timed, beautifully manifested work. it makes me ache.
